The team was flying on one of the Foundation's jets to Turin.
"Have we arrived?" Marcus yawned.
"Not yet, Marcus." Dante answered calmly, piloting.
Zhalia checked the countryside area around Turin on the Holotome in search of a safe landing spot, while Sophie let Samuel play with Springer, one of Lok's Titans, who was engaged as Dante's co-pilot.
"And now we have arrived?" Marcus asked a few minutes later.
"Shut up!" his sister screamed, throwing him the story book she was studying on.
"Does it irritate you that I asked Dad if we arrived, Clara?"
"I want to study for the test and I can't if you keep asking if we've arrived!"
Samuel did not care about the twins' quarrel, Springer had solved a puzzle for him and showed it to him as he sat on his mother's lap.
In Turin the team went to the Mole Antonelliana, but when they reached the safe house of the Foundation it wasn't possible for them to recover the ring.
"We couldn't stop him!" one of the base agents apologized. "He came with ten men and blocked us!"
"He has the ring now, right?" Dante asked.
"Yup! We couldn't protect it! We are very sorry, Dante!"
Dante didn't know what to say to Metz precisely, so his reaction was the unpleasant.
"Did those in Turin let the ring escape?!"
"That's right and Shadow will have with it the clues to the seals, but I know where the Legendary Titans are thanks to Claude's diary." Dante explained "We only need the seals and the ring of the Arc to get them..."
"We have an advantage then!" Metz seemed more serene. "Claude had only a rough idea about their location, how do you know where the titans are kept?"
"Eathon spoke to me shortly after his return from Huntik." Dante sat down on one of the armchairs in the basement studio. "I know how to take back the ring and the seals, but I want your permission to act."
Metz became thoughtful and waited for Dante to continue talking.
"I'm going to infiltrate in Shadow's recruits."
"Nice plan Dante, but it's too risky. Don't you think..."
Zhalia knocked on the door of the study.
"Dante, are you still talking to Metz?"
"Now I'm going, Metz. I'll keep you informed!" Dante assured him by closing the Holotome.
When Dante opened the study door he invited the team to come in and take a seat on the sofas. He began to expose his plan and immediately encountered the first resistance.
"No, Dante! What if they find out who you are? Have you thought about this particular?" Zhalia pointed out.
"Keep calm!" Dante tried to reassure her. "I'll be one of many!"
"I'm coming with you!" Marcus stood up.
"It's better for you to not come." Dante told him, bending down in front of him.
"Why not? You will need help! Someone small and fast..." Marcus approached his father. "Think about what mother would look like if something bad happens to you."
"You convinced me!" Dante sighed.
"You're joking, I hope!" Zhalia retorted, raising him from the ground and pushing him against the wall with a menacing look.
"No, Zhalia!" Dante told her with absolute calm. "Our son is right. We will leave tomorrow for Toronto. Him and me."
"Getting you out of there will be harder this time." Lok specified.
"I don't hear the voice so often." Sophie continued.
"If something happens to you, we'll never know!" Denconcluded.
"I am Marcus' godfather." Harrison recalled. "You were the one who gave me this job." he added looking at Dante, who raised an eyebrow. "You asked me to protect him and that's what I want to do now."
"Thank you uncle Harrison, but you don't need to do it!" Marcus smiled. "They won't notice anything. The time to get in and we'll be out already!"

The following day at the Venice airport Clara tightened Dante and Zhalia could not get away from Marcus.
"Be careful! Always listen to your father!"
"I will, mother!"
"Tell us once you get there." Lok added.
"Yes, don't worry!" Dante was relatively quiet.
"See you soon guys!" Cherit greeted them.
"Come back as soon as possible." Sophie invited them.
"Of course, Sophie!" Dantesmiled.
"Clara, aren't you going to say goodbye to me?" Marcus asked his sister.
"I'm happy! Finally I'll have a room just for me!" she smiled.
Dante and Zhalia remained embraced for a few minutes.
"I have to go, Zhalia." Dante whispered, kissing her forehead.
"I know." she said looking at Marcus one last time. "Always protect him." she whispered to Dante, letting him go.
