"You really wanna do this?" He held my hand and looked me in the eye.
I gulped and nodded.
"All right then, just be yourself. You can do this." He smiled and led me up the stage.
The spotlight was bright but honestly, around him, everything else seems dull.
I took a deep breath and clutched the mic tightly.
He gave me a little thumbs-up.
