(Sonic POV) A few hours later
After school had ended me and Cream waited for Tails to meet me near the school's entrance so that we could discuss our "situation"."What happens if Tails rejects both of us? I worried.(Author Note-when the font looks like this it's only the characters thought to themselves). The last bell rang and I ran over to the front of the school waiting for Cream and Tails. A few seconds later Cream came up and waited next to me to wait for Tails, "What will Tails say?"she asked, worryingly."I don't know but we'll try to find out"I said,determined. We waited for a few more minutes until we saw the familiar two tailed fox walking towards us. "Hey guys were you waiting for me?"he asked, curious."Yeah,how about we go over there so I can ask you something?"I said."Sure"he smiled cutely as we walked over to the corner of the school which I called our"meeting place".Cream looked around to see if anyone else was listening then looked at me and nodded. "Tails,were both in love with you"Tails looked confused and shocked as I continued,"Me and Cream don't want to make you choose so we wanted to know if we could share you?"I finished as I looked at Cream for reasurance. When I looked at Tails to hear his answer his head and ears were folded downwards not looking at us. "I don't think I can do that"he answered coldly,still not looking up."Why not?"Cream asked. "BECAUSE I ONLY LIKE ONE OF YOU!"Tails screamed,looking up at us with tears running down his face. Before we could answer Tails flew away into the distance leaving me and Cream wondering "Which on of us does he like?
(3rd Person POV)
As Tails flew away from his two friends a certain white bat had been on the roof listen to the conversation"I definitely gotta tell someone about this"she declared,as she flew away unseen to tell her friends the news.
(Tails POV)Tails house
"Great"I thought,"Now both my crush and my best friend hate me."At least I told the truth"I thought trying to reassure myself I did the right thing.I heard a knock on the door and opened it to see my other close friends Blaze and Silver."Hey Tails,I saw you flying over here crying so we came to check on you"Blaze smiled softly,as she sat on the couch. She patted the seat next to her, motioning me to sit next to her,"You can tell us anything"I sat next to her while Silver sat in the seat across from us. "Well,it's a bit complicated"I started. "Try us"Silver challenged jokingly. I started to tell them about what happened between me,Sonic and Cream. When I finished I burst into tears remembering how I must have hurt them. Blaze pulled me into a hug and Silver soon joined in"It's okay Tails at least you told your honest opinion"Blaze smiled,trying to reassure me. I smiled until Blaze asked curiously,"So who's your crush?"I blushed as I looked at Blaze,"Could Silver leave so I can tell you?"I asked politely. "No problem"Silver smiled walking to the door"I'll be outside if you need me"
After Silver left I decided that I would tell Blaze the whole story of how my crush began"Let's see it all started the day we first met..
(Silver's POV) outside Tails house
As I waited for Tails and Blaze to finish their conversation I saw Sonic and Cream walking from opposite directions towards Tails house. I quickly hid behind a bush near the house as the two spotted each other. "Why are you here, Sonic?"Cream asked,coldly."Shit,this might turn into a fight.I got to get help"I thought as I sneaked through the back to find the rest of my friends.
("Sonic's POV) In front of Tails house
"I just came to sort things out with Tails" I replied,trying not to provoke her."I got to say something to Tails first"she replied angrily."Why can't we just go in there together?"I suggested."Tails said he only liked on of us, so maybe if he talked to me he'll confess"Cream smirked at me. "Well,what if Tails doesn't like you?"I retorted, smiling as I saw her get angrier."I'm pretty sure that Tails like me more than you!"Cream smirked, trying to get past me. I ran in front of the door to block her way and glared at her"Stop lying to yourself and just leave"I snarled, holding my position."STOP!"Silver screamed, running between me and Cream to push us apart. I saw the rest of our friends were behind him and we're starting at us shocked."Why are you two fighting?"Amy asked, concerned."Well you see Amy, Cream thinks Tails wants her more than he wants me"I explained."Why does that matter?Amy asked, confused."Because he likes Tails"Rouge called out.
(3rd Person)Sorry about many POV
Amy was shocked to hear this.How could her Sonic like Tails?!"So guys who do you think will run Tails,me or Cream?" Everyone had a different reasons to choose which side they were on. Amy choose Cream because she wanted Sonic for her self. Rouge chose Sonic team because she thought it was cute. Tangle and Whisper(They're both in the Sonic IDW Comic) choose Sonic because they knew him better.The Chaotix choose Cream mostly because Charmy convinced them to(Charmy likes Cream so he wanted to prove to be loyal to her), Mighty and Ray choose Sonic because they supported him and Tails while Silver also choose Sonic too. Shadow didn't even care but he chose Cream's side because he cared for her like a little sister.Knuckles was last to choose because he wanted to choose Sonic side cause he was his friend but he thought Sonic and Tails being together was wrong. Now everyone has chosen their side to help Cream or Sonic win Tails.
(Meanwhile Blaze's POV)
"Wow,I never knew you liked them for that long"I smiled."Yah,it was kinda hard to keep these feelings in but now I feel better because I talked to you"Tails sighed, relieved.I gave Tails another hug until his ears pricked up"Do you hear that?"he asked. I heard a few voices outside and walked with Tails to open the door. I was shocked to see that all our friends had gathered together but what was also weird was that they were standing in two groups away from each other."WHAT'S GOING ON?!"Tails yelled over everyone. Sonic turned to Tails voice"It's nothing important Tails you don't have to worry about it"he explained."Seems suspicious to me"I thought. Silver motioned me to go over to him and he told me what had happened. After Sonic had reassured Tails everything was okay the two groups started to walk away heading apart from each other. I walked back to Tails side as everyone walked away."I know I'm on Sonic team but this will not end well"I sighed.
(Tails POV) back in Tails house
I had no idea what happened outside but I could tell something wasn't right. I saw that Blaze had talked to Silver so I decided to ask her if she knew anything"Do you know what happening Blaze?""Well Tails there seems to be a war between Sonic and Cream over you".I was shocked"How could they fight over me I'm not that important"I thought. "What should we do now?I asked."I don't know Tails,but I feel like this isn't gonna end nicely
