Sherlock's P.O.V
My bags were packed and ready to go. After I said goodbye to my parents I hailed a cab and gave them the addresses the university. After about 45 minutes of driving I stepped out of the cab and paid the cabbie. I sigh and walk into the university. I decide I should probably go the front desk and get my schedule and room number.
"Hello there." said the lady working at the desk. The nameplate says her name is Mrs. Hudson.
"Hi." I mumble back.
"What's your name dear?" Mrs. Hudson asked.
"Sherlock Holmes." I reply.
She gets up and looks through one of her drawers. "Aha! Here you are dear. Room 221 section B."
I grab the papers and walk off eager to get to my room so I could be alone. As I turned the key and opened the door to my room I placed my bags down and looked around. There was a bed on the left and right side and a desk in the middle with a window in front of it. There was a bathroom on the left side of the room and a hallway leading to a small kitchen on the right. I sigh and pick the bed on the left and start shoving my clothes into the drawers at the end of my bed, taking my coat off and letting my wings flare out. Then I heard the door open.
I turn around to see a short boy with blond hair walking in carrying his bags. He looked around the room before his eyes stopped on me.
"Oh hello." he said.
"Hi." I mumble back.
He looks around a little bit more then puts his bags by his dresser and flopped down on his bed. I grabbed a book from one of my bags and started to read for a while when the boy spoke up.
"What book are you reading?" he asked me. "The Hobbit." I replied. "I love that book!" he exclaimed. I just rolled my eyes.
"Oh, forgive me my name is John, John Watson." He said, holding his hand out. My wings twitched slightly as I shook his hand and replied "Sherlock Holmes."
