2. A Dream or A Nightmare

After the family reunion we all agreed that no one but me was going to go near Nessie. This was going to be hard but it felt good, Renesmee was in the parking lot with her friends and when Stella saw me, she smiled and grabbed Stacey and left. When Nessie saw why they were leaving her heart that always has a beat little too fast was now at a rate where if she would have been a normal human would have had a heart attack.

"Edward, can you led me your keys?" I said with every intention of being left behind.

"Knock your self out." He threw the keys with a sinister look like if you do something wrong you're dead. Normal guy would have that look for there cars but I knew that he knew I was making my move with Nessie and he's was threaten me to be careful.

I catched the keys and everyone was moving fast. I could feel her eyes on me and I was fully aware that she was observing me. I tried to think of a way to invite her in, but just when she decide to walk up to me this kid who's named I never bothered to remembered came up to her.

"Renesmee, can we talk second. I was kinda of hoping...." Renesmee cut him off by walking by him.

"Renesmee, wait...." He grabbed her by the arm and by the way she struggle it was hard.

"Let me go Todd I don't want to talk to you. Didn't you get a clue when I told you I don't want you near me?"

"Renesmee please, you gotta let me explain please."

"Explain my ass. I know what I saw and I don't want no explanation that comes from you now let me go." She was trying hard to shake him lose but Todd wouldn't let go. I saw red then.

"Don't you understand when a girl said no it's no!" I grab Todd by the collar of his shirt and from the corner of my eye I saw Edward and Emmett coming.

"Chill man this is between me and my girl." Todd said trying to escape from my grasp. The poor guy didn't know what I was capable of. He tried to be force himself on me but I kept my position as the attacker

"You better stay away from her, do you hear me." I threw him to the ground and that's when Emmett and Edward got to me.

"Be careful, she's watching." Emmett said in whisper with a low warning in his voice.

"I know." I said giving him the same murderess glare that Rosalie has given me many times. I turned around to see Renesmee staring at me with scared eyes. She was massaging her arm but her attention was to me. Again it was just us in that moment and Todd was the one to pull me out.

"Who the hell do you think you are, freak." He yelled as he stood up and at his side was a flock of guys just like him. It was only now that I notice an audience too.

"You got luck this time, but put your hands on her again and you won't..."

"Jacob please let's get out of here I think I'm going to need to go to the nurse please come with me." She said with pleading in her eyes like she was in on the secret about me.

"Fine let's go." I grabbed Renesmee's hand and walked her to the entrance of school. It wasn't until Renesmee pulled her hand that I stopped.

"What's the matter?" I asked, worried that I might have done something wrong.

"Nothing I just wanted to say thanks for what you did. Todd is a jerk that I dated but it over and he just doesn't get it."

"Well you just tell me and I'll put him into place so you don't worry. I've got a lot of practice when it comes to throwing the first punch." I said with a smirk.
