After finding out that the tenrou team had returned from their slumber on the desecrated island, the dragon slayer trio sat atop a hill, looking out at the blue sky 
"It really takes you back, doesn't it?" Sting said "Last time we saw them you came up to about here on Gajeel," The blonde haired boy made a gesture with his hand towards Rouge's knee 
"I never liked him much, he was scary," Sting said
Maka chuckled at her friends' remark 
"Stop bringing up the past Sting, we chose to follow a differrent path than them," Rouge said 
Maka nodded "Yeah those guys are old and outdated, who cares what happens to them now," Maka said
Sting smirked 
"Hell I wonder what Gray would say about you now, The two of you are so differrent from how I remembered you," 
Maka sighed 
"I don't care much for what Gray and Natsu may or may not think anymore if they gave a damn in the first place they wouldn't have gone anywhere," The girl said
Suddenly another one of the men hunting them down appeared 
"I found you!" he called 
The dragon slayers did not budge, as he readied his arrow 
The arrow buzzed through the air towards Rouge's head when Sting caught it, putting it to his lips and taking a bite out of it, then another and another 
"WHat- he-he's eating the arrow!" the guy freaked 
"No, no it can't be him," the guy said as Sting finished the light arrow off 
He blew a small puff then a beam of light formed and blew the man into the stone wall behind him 
he shivered and shrieked 
"Ah dammit, I guess I'm out of practice, his heads' still there," Sting said
The Dragon Slayers faced the opponent, annoyed by his being there and interrupting their talk
A cirt path was formed in the earth where the man had slid across the ground hard and into the wall,
"I knew it, I-it really is you," he shuttered looking upon their faces "The three dragons of the Sabertooth guild in the flesh! White Dragon Sting, Shadow Dragon Rouge, and Storm Dragon Maka ! the dragon Slayer trio!" he shrieked 
Sting smirked as the man ran away screaming and carrying on toward the hills 
"Hold up! are you just gonna leave your buddies?" Maka asked, referring to the hundred guild members behind them
Sting laughed "Man that's harsh," he said
"Talk about selfish," Maka crossed her arms 
"he's part of a dark guild, what do you expect?" Rouge scowled watching the man turn little as he sped away over the mountains 

"Geez Sting, you don't know when to hold back do ya?" Lector said from across the way, standing with Shikki and Frosche 
"Hey it's Lector, Froshe, and Shikki, I was wondering where you guys went," Sting said
"Oh you know, just doing some recon stuff," Lector said
Shikki nodded, trotting toward Maka 
"We thought we would find the enemy before they found us, but it seems like you guys have already taken care of that," Shikki said, propping against Maka's leg 
Lector nodded "Yea, those guys got what they deserve for messing with awesome dragon slayers huh?" Lector said 
"Yeah your the bestest ever!" Frosche cheered
"Damn straight," Sting said, high-fiving his furry friend
"Your the man to be! the strongest dragon slayer of all time looks out!" Lector hyped
"Thanks, man," sting said as the slayers and their friends began to leave the scene of the fight 
Maka laughed " I wonder When will Sting learn to share with the rest of us?" Maka asked the blonde 
"When you stop being a slowpoke Maki~" he cooed Putting his hand on her head 
The girls face painted a shade of pink at her nickname 
"Bet I could beat Natsu if I had the chance," Sting said
Maka laughed 
"I dont know," Maka said
Shikki looked confused "What you think Natsu is better than Sting?" She asked
Maka shook her head " No of course not, Sting is really strong bit, I just don't wanna see him get hurt, then I'd have to kick Natsu's ass," Maka smirked annoying her best friend 
Lector snickered "Ohhh someones worried about Stingggg~" he cooed 
Sting paid no mid to Lector's comment, he was too busy thinking about if Maka could beat up Natsu 
"Not like that!" Maka retorted 
The Cat smiled an evil smile
"Im just not sure he can beat Natsu," Maka said looking up at Sting
"Oh yeah? maybe we should find out," he said
"I think I'll pass, thanks," Rouge said 
"Oh come on Rouge! You could probably Turn Gajeel into a tin can!" Maka pumped 
Rpuge shook his head
"I'll do what Rouge said," Frosche said, absent-mindedly 

"I wonder what Crocus is gonna be like this year," Maka said, with a dreamy look in her eyes "It's always so beautiful there," she said 
"The same as last year probably," Rouge said
Maka deadpanned "So much spirit radiates off you, ya know that?" Maka said
Shikki sighed
"It's usually the same but I have this feeling that It's gonna be differrent, I wonder what Natsu and gray are gonna say when they see how grown up you are now," The fox stated 
Maka shrugged slightly " I don't know," 
"Your a million and one times stronger than them though, you can take them!" Lector said gesturing to a fight with his paws 
Maka laughed 
"I don't intend on Fighting them, or even speaking to them unless I have to," Maka said
Sting furrowed his brow "Why the hell not? Your part of the strongest guild in Fiore! you should show those punks what's up," Sting said
Maka sighed
"Just drop it Sting," She said, looking into his piercing blue eyes, they seemed to soften 
"Alright," he spoke softer 
Maka smiled as they began their way back home
