Jug to the Rescue

My serpent jacket displayed proudly on my back as I walked down the hall. "When are you going to listen to me and actually wear longer skirts or pants?" Sweet Pea grumbled and I smirked. Stopping us I turned to him and placed a hand on his cheek rubbing it with my thumb.

"Does it bother you Pea?" I asked and he narrowed his eyes. "Yes. It does actually." He told me and I just said, "maybe never then." I winked and turned walking away. "Damn it Effy!" He snapped making me laugh.

I reached my locker that had big black and green letters spray painted down it 'EFFY'. I put my books inside slamming my locker shut. The doors slammed open and In came Mayor McCoy, Keller, and drug dogs. I quickly opened my locker back up and grabbed my pill bottle. Sliding it in my pocket I slammed it shut and put the lock on it. I turned to sneak away when I was jerked back. I was slammed into my lockers and arrested. They escorted me out and stuffed me into the back of a cop car.

I laid back on the hard tiny bed inside my cell I shared with Fangs, and Sweet Pea. I fished the pills out of my bra and looked around before taking the last two. I grabbed my flask from my underwear liner and downed them. I snuck it back as my anxiety settled down. "How did I know I was going to be spending my afternoon in a jail cell?" I asked and they both turned to me. "Chill babe. We will get out eventually." Fangs told me and I sighed. "You guys maybe. My dad is in jail. How long are we going to be here I have a shift at Pops tonight." I told them and sat back.

Sheriff Keller made his way past us and I called out "Sheriff Keller!" He turned to me and I smiled softly. I went to the bars and said, "how long are we going to be here I have a shift at Pops at 5. I can't be late again." He just said, "I'll call Pop." And walked away. "What the fuck?" I snapped and rolled my eyes turning to the boys.

I leaned against a truck as I shimmied my jacket off. "Keep on her so she doesn't tear Tall Boys head off." Toni told the boys and I rolled my eyes. "He's such a little bitch. He doesn't deserve that jacket" I snapped and went to storm over but Sweet Pea grabbed me pulling me back. "Oh no you don't. Pick your battles babe." He told me and I went to fight his grip but it tightened.

"I'm choosing this one." I growled and went to walk up again but he yanked me back. "No." He growled into my ear. He dragged me away from everyone and I rolled my eyes as he lightly pushed me back. "I can't just stay here and watch the peace FP and I put into all of this Fall apart ." I snapped at him and went to walked past him but he pulled me back. "Yes. You will."

We were so close I felt his breathe on my lips. We glared at each other until I noticed he leaned down. I smirked and closed my eyes as we kissed. Tall Boy yelled and we pulled back. "Fine. I'll drop it. Next time he cocks off to me I'm.." Sweet Pea cut me off by kissing me again.

He pulled me closer to him his hands on my waist and he leaned down enough for me to snake my arms around his neck. Pulling back we breathed heavily. I bit my lip and winked at him before going back to Fangs who was watching for the boys to come back.

"Everyone scatter! The cops are rounding up Ghoulies!" Someone yelled and we all looked at each other.  Sweet Pea rushed over and pulled me to his bike. We got on and he, like many others, kicked the bike to life and we took off.

I straddled Sweet Peas waist as we sat on the couch. My hands tangled into his hair as his hands untucked my lace shirt. Pulling back I took my shirt off leaving me in a bra. I tugged and took off Sweet Peas. Leaning back down I attached my lips to his.

Sweet Pea wrapped his arms around my waist and stood up making me squeal. He laughed and carried me into the bedroom.

The next morning I laid on Sweet Peas chest as I slept.

Sweet Peas phone went off and he groaned. I turned so I laid on my back. He grumbled into the phone while I just ignored him trying to fall back asleep.

A kiss was placed on my lips and I smiled as I kissed back. He then kissed my nose and I opened my eyes.

"Morning babygirl." He mumbled and I bit my lip. "Morning Sweets." I mumbled back.
