Chicago Illinois: 10:30 PM-

Dawson:
"Boss."

Lincoln:
"You better have good news for me, Dawson."

Dawson:
"We've got her. She's in the basement as we speak."

Katie's PoV
Who is he talking about!? They don't know I'm here... I should probably leave... WAIT!? Is this girl the reason he's been blowing me off!? Oh hell no!

Lincoln:
"No harm was done to her, correct? Coz if you hurt her I highly doubt she will talk."

Dawson:
"No harm was done to her, I swear! Boss you know the rules. Plus none of the guys would ever have the balls to hurt a woman. Especially since we all know your cousins would kill us all. I'm not trying to piss you off or one of the twins."

Lincoln:
"You have a point. Well done Dawson. I know it always looks like I give you a hard time but your still fairly new and I need to make sure all of our members are prepared for anything."

Dawson:
"Your in charge Lincoln. I'm here to protect you and the Mafia. Plus I enjoy challenges."

Lincoln:
"You know your not that bad kid. Now come on let's go talk to her."

In the basement:

Ruby's PoV
I wonder what all this is about?

Katie:
"Who do you think you are!? Lincoln is mine! Do you understand me!?"

Ruby:
"Who the hell is Lincoln!? I don't even know what I'm doing here or what is going on. But you better stop screaming at me or I'll shove my fist down your throat! Back off!"

Katie's PoV
This little brat thinks she can threaten me!?"

Suddenly I realised what was about to happen, the little drama queen threw a punch to my face, thank god Jaydon taught me how to dodge.

Lincoln's PoV
What the!?

Dawson:
*whispers*
"Should we stop her!?"

Lincoln:
*whispers*
"No I want to see what she can do."

Ruby:
"Ok that's it!"

I dodged the rest of her punches and began to fight back throwing punches that she was unable to dodge. She began to get weaker and eventually could barely catch her breath.

Ruby:
"I told you not to mess with me! I don't tolerate drama queens."

Dawson:
*whispers*
"Katie totally deserved that."

Lincoln:
*whispers*
"Interesting..."

Lincoln:
"Katie! What the fuck are you doing!?"

Katie:
"Lincoln!... She attacked me babe!"

Lincoln:
"Are you really going to sit here and lie to me!? I watched you start it! Get out! We will talk about this later!"

Katie:
*cries*
"Please don't be mad at me baby. I was just trying to get information for you."

Ruby's PoV
Information about what?

Lincoln:
"Out!"

Ruby's PoV
Who is this guy?

Lincoln:
"Keep an eye on the door, Dawson. Katie better not come back."

Dawson:
"I've got this."

Lincoln:
"You!?"

Ruby:
"The asshole from the hallway!?"

Lincoln:
"You were standing in the way!"

Ruby:
"And your legs aren't broken!"

Lincoln's PoV

Lincoln:
"Look lady, I just have a few questions for you."

Ruby:
"And You couldn't just have asked me without kidnapping me!? Who the heck does that!?"

Lincoln:
"Would you have come with me if I simply asked!?"

Ruby:
"Probably not. But only because you were a prick before."

Lincoln:
"Fair enough. Who do you work for?"

Ruby:
"Excuse me!? I don't work for anyone. I have my own clinic."

Lincoln's PoV
It did say she was a vet..

Lincoln:
"What about that company you gained?"

Ruby:
"How do you know about that?!"

Lincoln:
"Just answer the question.."

Ruby:
"I am not obligated to answer a damn thing. It's none of your business."

Lincoln:
"WOMAN!"

Ruby:
"I'm so scared please don't hurt me! Give me a break dude. Your not scary. Yell all you want. You're no one to me. You aren't my boss. And I sure as hell don't owe you anything including any kind of explanation."

Lincoln:
"Fine, have it your way. You can stay down here until you feel like talking."

Ruby:
"Excuse me!? You can't just keep me down here!"

Lincoln:
"Then tell me what I want to know."

Ruby:
"Oh bite me!"

Lincoln's PoV
Don't kill her.... Don't kill her... Don't kill her..

Lincoln:
"Enjoy the basement principessa."

Despite his beauty the urge to kill this man was killing me! He left the basement and closed the large metal doors behind him. The rows of lights above my head kept me from darkness.

Ruby:
"Seriously!? Why am I always stuck in crappy situations!?"

Lincoln's Office:

This girl is seriously starting to get on my nerves why the fuck is she in my office!?

Katie:
"What was that!? Is she the reason you've been so funny with me!? This is such crap! How dare you scream at me in front of them! You had No-

Lincoln:
"ENOUGH! Just you remember who you are talking to! Your getting on my f*cking nerves Katie! We aren't together! We never were! Do I have to spell it out for you!? You had no right attacking her! If I wanted someone to handle her, I'd have Kinsley do it! Your going to stay away from the girl, that's an order! Touch another hair on her head and I swear I will let Raven put you six feet under! Do you understand me!?"

Katie:
*cries*
"What does she have that I don't!?"

Lincoln's PoV
Maybe a brain.. Well actually if she is a vet she will have to be really smart.. With that sassy attitude of hers.. This chick is going to be a pain.

Lincoln:
"Are you done crying?"

Katie:
"I love you! Why can't you see that!? I have loved you since I met you!"

Lincoln:
"That's nice. Thanks?"

Lincoln left his office and Katie was alone.

Katie:
*screams*
