Run

  'Mr Kim Namjoon.' The officer called.

Namjoon shot a glance at Taehyung. He was on his phone, speaking in a hushed tone. He looked scared.

'Yes.' Namjoon nodded to the officer.

'Once Yoongi has been interviewed, you will be allowed to see him. He hasn't been charged.'

'Okay, thank you. Has he said anything about how he disappeared?
'
'Not yet, he just keeps asking for his friends.'

'Thank you so much.'

'Hey, Tae!' Namjoon heard Jin call as he walked back towards them. Taehyung did not respond.

'Tae, who are you talking to?' Jungkook shouted.

Taehyung jumped and put his phone in his pocket. 'No one, uh, my dad. He wanted to know where I am.'

'Since when has your dad ever cared where you are?' Jungkook said. Taehyung just shrugged.

'Hoseok looked up to Namjoon. 'Can we see Suga?'

'Soon we can, yes.'

Hoseok smiled brightly, and Jimin hugged him.

'See,' Jimin told him. 'I told you it would be okay.'

Taehyung sighed and stormed out of the station. He could hear Namjoon calling after him, but he kept on running. He needed to getaway. He wanted to run and never stop.
As he ran, he could hear footsteps running behind him. He tried to get away, but whoever was behind him was fast. Very fast. Taehyung felt someone grab and push him to the ground.  It was Jungkook. Slightly out of breath, he tightly held Taehyung down.

'What the hell is wrong with you?' He asked.

'Nothing, get off me!'

'No, you need to tell me what's wrong.'

'Jungkook please!' Taehyung cried. 'You're hurting me!'

'You'd better hurry up and tell me then.'

'Junkook please!'

'Tell me!' Jungkook twisted Taehyung's arm, making him scream.

'Okay!' Taehyung whimpered. He felt like his arm would break, and he knew jungkook would not let go until Taehyung told him the horrible truth.
Jungkook let Taehyung's arm go, but he still sat on top of him. Taehyung told Jungkook everything that he had done to Suga and Hoseok.

'You're lying!' Jungkook shouted. ' You can't have. Tae, you wouldn't!'

Taehyung rubbed his arm. He stared at the ground, ashamed.

'Why?' Jungkook asked. 'Why did you do that?'

'I wanted what Suga had!' Taehyung cried. He rubbed his eyes; he could not stop the tears.

'They were best friends Tae, nothing more than that.'

'He still had Hobi. And I wanted him!'

'So, you had someone kidnap Suga and lock him up. Just because you are obsessed with Hoseok?'

Taehyung nodded. 'I'm sorry. I wish I hadn't done it. I wanted to bring Suga back but, I was scared I'd be in trouble and Hoseok would hate me.'

Jungkook shook his head. He stood looking down at Taehyung. 'Well, you're in a whole lot more trouble now.'

'No!' Taehyung scrambled to his feet. 'Kookie please, let me go. Tell them I got away and you'll never see me again. I swear! I won't talk to Hoseok again, or Suga, or any of you. Please!'

Jungkook bit his lip. He was torn, tears formed in his eyes. What could he do? Let his friend run away or turn him in? He knew he should take Taehyung to the police but, he just couldn't.

'Fine,' he said. 'Go. But swear to me you won't come back to hurt them again.'

'Jungkook I swear. Thank you, I'm sorry.'

'Just go, the. Now.' Jungkook turned away. He couldn't watch as his friend disappeared. He did not want to say goodbye to a friend again. But Taehyung had broken their friendship, and Jungkook could not bring himself to look at him anymore, knowing what kind of person his friend really is.
