I went to the bus stop, like I always do. I saw Courtney waving at me like a mad woman, as always, so I started making my way over to her. "Hey Sydney!" She called out, "Did you see Spencer yesterday? He was totally flirting with Chelsea." Courtney loved to gossip, I'm pretty sure she was born with heightened senses because she can always seem to smell when something is about to happen. Spencer was my boyfriend for about a month, but I dumped him last week. He was just too clingy for my liking, he's really nice though, it was a shame to let him go. Courtney is in my 'friend' circle. The people in my 'friend' circle are all fake, they just want to be 'popular' like me. The reason I say 'popular' like that is because I'm not really popular, I'm just known to everyone at school. "Britney said that Damian is throwing a party this weekend, you should so come!" Courtney exclaimed. The bus pulls up and we all hop on, I sit at the back as usual, with Courtney next to me. This weekend, what do I have on this weekend. Oh, right, Tom said he was holding a small gathering at the house on Saturday and I had to cook the food. "Nah, I've got other plans." I lie. "Aw, you really should come, your the life of the party!" Courtney pouts. She's such a suck up, I would definitely be locked up if I tried to be a suck up, so I guess it's wrong. "Courtney, stop being such a suck up, your humiliating yourself." I scold, "Sorry." I hear her mumble. Finally the bus pulls up at school and Courtney and I part ways.
