Walk

8 3 1

I sit and stare

Continuously I glare

Acting like I don't care

but deep inside, wishing I were there

I told my heart, I told my soul

That my aims or goals, I'm not letting go

With their deep voice telling me not to pretend

I was stuck in my chair until the end

My old man once said,
"To walk the walk and talk the talk,

It takes hardworking and determination, not forgetting tic-toc

Unless you always rhyme with the time

Learn to always be on time"

Remembering this,

I rose and walked
Sitting there was a waste of time- I'm not a log

My head held high, step by step

Extortion had finally been put to bed.
