By ev'ry single nail, by ev'ry single hair

I promised to give my all to her

With sun by day and moon by night

I slept by her side, holding her closely tight

With a bright smile while looking in her eye

I was certain that our love will never die

But then-
With age by time, as memories flew by

I left her sooner without a goodbye

I did say-
"We shall wine, we shall dine,
Together we will walk the mile

And within a shot while,

We will walk down the aisle.."

Unfortunately-
All my words were in vain

I parted from her, leaving nothing to gain

...all alone and in pain

True love was never, ev'r seen again.
