It was a cold and dark night in the small town of Godric's Hollow. A new house was illuminated by an eerie green light. Outside, a witch with a wand stood, smiling wickedly. She entered the house, her eyes falling on James Potter's lifeless body sprawled across the floor. Her smile widened, and she began to laugh.
A large snake slithered from the shadows behind her as she stepped over James's body, making her way upstairs. The witch's name was Bellatrix Lestrange, one of the Dark Lord’s most loyal followers. She entered the upper room and found Lily Potter’s body lying on the floor. In a nearby cot, two babies lay—one with black hair, silent, and the other with golden hair, screaming.
At that moment, Bellatrix saw her Dark Lord, now in the vulnerable form of a child. Weak and malleable, he appeared fragile. "My Lord," she whispered reverently.
The snake coiled around the small figure, forming a circle before disappearing with him. Bellatrix heard footsteps approaching and turned to see the golden-haired baby still crying. She picked him up and vanished into the night, leaving the black-haired twin alone, crying beside the body of his dead mother.

An old man, dressed in long blue robes and a tall hat, his white beard flowing down to his chest, walked quietly down the street. Suddenly, an older woman appeared in his path.
"Professor McGonagall," he said, his voice gentle as he met her eyes, which were filled with sorrow. "The deaths of the Potters have been a great tragedy for the wizarding world."
"They will kill them all," McGonagall said, her voice tight with fear.
"That is why we must hide them," Dumbledore replied gravely.
"Professor, what will happen when the truth is revealed? What if they find him?" she asked, her voice trembling with concern.
Dumbledore's gaze shifted toward the bundle in Hagrid's arms. "He has his mother’s eyes," McGonagall said softly, her voice thick with emotion. Hagrid gave a weak smile in response.
Dumbledore looked around, his brow furrowing. "Where is Henry?" he asked, but Hagrid's expression darkened as he lowered his head.
"He wasn’t there," Hagrid mumbled. "When I arrived, there was only the one baby—Harry. I went to the right place, but the other one was gone."
"What are we going to do, Dumbledore?" McGonagall asked, her worry evident as they made their way toward a house on Privet Drive.
Dumbledore stopped in front of Number 4, where Harry's aunt, Petunia, lived. "We must protect Harry for now. He will be safe with his aunt. But we need to find his twin brother before something terrible happens to him," he said, his tone firm.
"Dumbledore, how will we find Henry?" Hagrid asked, his voice full of uncertainty.
"When he grows up, we will hear about him. We will find him, and we will keep him safe," Dumbledore said. With a nod from McGonagall, they placed the baby gently on the doorstep, rang the bell, and disappeared into the night. Hagrid and Dumbledore began their journey back to Hogwarts, walking in solemn silence.

At Lestrange Manor
Bellatrix appeared in the garden of her grand estate, the golden-haired baby still crying in her arms. The doors to the manor opened of their own accord, and Bellatrix entered, greeted by the sight of her sister, Narcissa.
"It’s true," Narcissa whispered, her eyes widening as she saw the baby in Bellatrix’s arms. From the shadows, Lucius Malfoy stepped forward.
"What’s true?" Bellatrix asked, her voice cold as she shielded the baby's face from their view.
"Bellatrix, where is Voldemort?" Lucius asked, his voice tense. Bellatrix smiled darkly.
"He’s not gone. Not yet. Nagini took him away. I saw him there," Bellatrix replied with confidence.
"The baby," Narcissa whispered, her eyes fixed on the child. Bellatrix stepped back protectively.
"If we keep him, the prophecy will never come true. If they never meet, the Dark Lord will reign forever," Bellatrix said, her voice full of conviction. Lucius stared at her, his expression hard.
"Give the baby back. The Dark Lord is gone, Bellatrix. We’ve lost."
"You’re giving up?" Bellatrix sneered.
"I’m making the choice to give my children a better future. The Dark Lord is gone. Period," Lucius said, his voice final. Bellatrix laughed, a high, chilling sound.
"You think he’s gone, but he isn’t. And he will thank me for keeping this child," Bellatrix said defiantly.
"Bellatrix..." Narcissa began, but her sister cut her off.
"No. I will raise this child. I will make him the most terrible and wicked wizard the world has ever seen."
"I’m done fighting," Lucius said quietly, turning toward the door. Narcissa looked at her sister, hesitating.
"Can I see him?" Narcissa asked softly, stepping closer to look at the boy. "He has his mother’s eyes," she whispered. Lucius glanced at her.
"We need to go," Lucius said, his tone urgent. Narcissa nodded, casting one last glance at the baby before following her husband.
Bellatrix smiled as she looked down at the child, tracing the faint lightning-shaped scar on his right eye. The baby finally fell asleep in her arms. Bellatrix’s smile faded into a dark, twisted smirk.
"You will regret the day you were born, child," she whispered. Her laughter echoed through the halls of the manor, stirring the restless ghosts that lingered within its walls.
