(Y/N) had the soul of an artist. They were passionate about their work and always tried to help others around her improve with their art skills. They always tried knew things with their art and often times it turned out amazing.
So it was a big surprise when they started to date the prodigy/boy genius Jimmy Neutron.
They had nothing in common. That's what everyone thought. A scientist and an artist? It was pretty strange to say the least.
But (Y/N) didn't care about what they said. They knew Jimmy better then anyone and they knew that they did have something in common with him.
Their passion for their work.
"(Y/N)? What are you doing up?" Jimmy questioned with a yawn as he leaned on the door frame of his room.
"I just. I think I'm on the brink of something", they answered, drawing something with their pastels.
"It's 2:00AM. Did you even go to sleep last night?" Jimmy questioned.
"Do YOU go to sleep when your on the brink of a scientific breakthrough?!" You exclaimed. Glancing at him with your now baggy eyes.
Jimmy chuckled a little and shook his head. He hadn't even went to sleep tonight. He had been working down in his lab and was expecting to see them in his bed (probably wearing his clothes.) asleep.
"Well you got me there", he stated with a small smile.
They smirked and continued on their project. He watched as you used an assortment of colored pencils, crayons, paints, pens, and other things (Y/N) had brought. Wondering what they were drawing. Everytime he'd try to get a closer look they would wave him away.
After a while you had finished, and the outcome was a beautiful picture of your significant other.
Jimmy was speechless to say the least. His face slowly heating up to the point it was emitting steam.
"It's good right?" They questioned, "I know I got the nose wrong but I-"
They got cut off when Jimmy hugged you tightly. A smile broke out on your face as you hugged him back.
"It's amazing. Thank You", he muttered into their ear.
(Y/N) shivered a little and nodded. Pulling away from him to look at his face.
His blue eyes had bangs under them and he seemed just as tired as they did. (Y/N) gently kissed his cheek.
"Thanks Jimbo. Let's go to bed now", (Y/N) murmered.
