"I hate you! Ever since Mama got shot, you've been nothing but-" This had been one of the first times, that Tex had sworn at his brother.
"Well if you don't like it, then you can just leave!" Tink shouted back.
Tex stormed out of the house, going to sit down on the porch. With his head in his hands, wanting to cry for some reason. The four of you looked round the corner, Babi saying that it was ok to go back in the house. You stayed there, wanting to be by yourself. Although Tex looked so helpless at the moment, you'll admit you were a bit harsh, but only if Tex understood it. It would be fine.
You decided to go over, sitting down next to him, and giving a hug. Tex doesn't move, and he isn't confused as he accepts your apology.
"I'm sorry (Y/n)." He mumbled.
You shushed him. "It's my fault, but let's just not talk about it."
He gave a nod, as he puts his arms around you. The pair of you not caring about the others, or the reality. It was just the two of you, and only you two.

You were going to bed now, the eldest was no where to be seen, and the others were just sitting in the living room.
Tex still kept his distance, sure he wanted to be with you, but at the same time he didn't. You ignored the others, going up to Tex's room, you got in bed. Immediately falling asleep as your head hit the pillow.***
"Get up! I've told you no lie ins!"
Tink shouted, actually dragging you out of the bed."Get off her Tink!" Tex replied, pushing his brother out of the way.
"Oh stop it! I'm getting up!" You joined in.
"Fine, but no lay ins." Tink warned, walking out of the room and down the stairs.
"Your not doing any work, it's just that weirdo and Junior today." Tex said. "So...I was wondering if..." Poor Tex as his voice trailed off.
You gave a smile and a nod. The cowboy lightened up go your answer. His plan was a walk in the woods, and maybe out to the road, but he just had to see how it went. Wanting to hold your hand, he forced himself not to.
"This is nice," You breathed out, having the chance to clear your mind. "The morning fresh air, the sunrise and well the fact of seeing everything in the woods."
"Mmm hmm." Tex replied.
"Oh don't be like that, you know we're past this now. Like friends after an argument." You joked a bit.
"But we're not friends." Tex replied, picking up a stick.
"Well...I can always be your friend of you want." You smiled.
"After what I did to you?"
You laughed in reply, shaking your head. It's like the cannibal was an alien or something. He just didn't know what normal humans beings were like, luckily you were here to show him. As you walked through the clearing of the woods, you could see the tree house that you had stayed in. The trees surrounding it, were brightly green, with full of health. It was surprising to see such beautiful woods in Texas, but here they were. Looking around, you avoided the hidden traps. It looked like another mile or so out to the end of the woods, and out into the blaring sun.
"Tex," You said. "Your silly." Then you just kept laughing at your joke. Unable to walk.
"Well, your unpredictable." Tex replied.
"Oh? You wanna bet?" You asked.
"If ya want." He gave an smile back.
You went to find a tree to climb, unfortunately you were to small to reach the branches. The cowboy finds this amusing, and gives a chuckle, but helps you out, by lifting you up.
"That's not funny." You pout, climbing further up the tree.
Tex joins you, with the tree climbing. You climb higher than him, and much faster. Once high enough in the tree, you slow down and stop. This was high enough, the ground being way below you and the sun blaring through the leafs. The cowboy stops, just below you. You lightly kick him in the head.
"Oops." You giggled.
"Do you want to fall out of the tree
(Y/n)?" Tex asked, the saying of your name slightly making you blush."No Tex," You reply, before remembering something. "Edward..."
Tex sighed, as he stayed silent. You look around once again. Seeing the house to your right and the road to your left through the trees. The sun was blaring even more now, it was odd how the trees didn't set alight. But your back was burning, from the heat.
"Tex, I mean Edward." You wanted to keep saying his real. "I'm coming down."
Edward moved out of the way, letting you go first. You were provoking him, though he was keeping it quite hidden. Letting you think he was ok with it, when he really wasn't. As soon as you were down on the forest floor, Tex was about to jump down on you, but missed.
"I'm going get you!" He then growled.
"Edward?" You said again.
Then you ran from him, jumping over the branches and trees logs, and ducking as well. Tex ran behind you, going to catch up, but you were faster. Avoiding the traps, like you knew where they all were now. Even though you had only been here a couple of times.
***
You soon stopped and hid behind a big tree, hoping he wouldn't get you. Tex stopped and laughed to himself, as he went round the other side of the tree. The cowboy tackled you to the ground unexpectedly, you tried to get away from him but he didn't let you.
"Tex! I'm sorry, I'm sorry." You apologised.
"No your not." He replied, now having you pinned to the forest floor.
The pair of you staring into each other's eyes. His brown eyes meeting your (E/c) eyes. This was intense, but silly at the same time. You couldn't keep a straight but laughed instead, and looked away. Tex gives a slight laugh as well. Before taking it to the next level, he got you to look into his eyes once more. Then he leaned down to kiss you, you were certainly caught off guard. Looks like he was the more unpredictable one. You closed your eyes and kissed back.
You pulled away. "Tex..."
"Eddie if ya want, but not in the house."
You kissed again, being more and more passionate. Letting your feelings take over, kiss after kiss. The cowboy let go of your hands, letting you roam them through his hair. Tex moves from your mouth to neck.
"Mmm, no Tex stop!" You managed to push him off and move away from him.
"It's ok." He said. "I didn't really want to either."
You gave a nod in reply, moving to sit in a more comfortable position. The two of you just stayed there for the rest of the day, but going back home for dinner, which Alfredo had to burn on purpose.
