The next day considered of patrolling and deciding who the next people should be for the hunting. Tex tried to get you to come out more, but you didn't want to. Although that changed when he joked, that you might have to be Alfredo instead. So you stuck by Tex's side, upset that he made the comment.

"Oh cheer up darling. You know I mean now harm." Tex pulled you into a hug.

The two of you were out at the gas station, the other brother was there as well. Somewhere.

"Darling I'm worried about you."

You buried your face into his clothes, clutching slightly. You spent the last night crying, and wanting to cry more but you just couldn't.

"I don't want to eat people." You mumbled.

Tex stroked your hair, looking out at the road. This wasn't fair on you. What was the cannibal going to do? Sure you didn't have to eat it, but that wasn't good to not have a proper meal.

"Hey idiot! Tink doesn't put you out here to do nothing!" Alfredo shouted.

"Hey Alfredo, unlike you real people have feeling which means they need comforting." Tex glared at him. "Cold hearted stutterer."

"Maybe we shouldn't be together."

"(Y/n)-"

"Tex, I'm being fairly serious. We're two different people, how the hell am I supposed to be what you are?"

Just then a couple pulled up into the gas station. Tex made sure you were ok, before doing the usual greeting, but couldn't bring himself to. He just wanted to stay by your side. Though he couldn't let his younger brother hassle them, they were an old couple and wouldn't be good. You let go off Tex and watched him leave for a bit.

Maybe you were the problem and should just join in with their life and be one of them. Though it was wrong, murder even. Soon the old couple drove off faster than Tex was allowed to. Alfredo had hit him on the back of the head, before he pushed him. Tex however stood there watching the car till it faded into the distance.

"Oh your useless!" Alfredo shouted.

"Wait-" Tex turned to face his brother. "Alfredo."

The younger brother looked away from his older brothers gaze, but it was weird as Tex was holding his face.

"I need you to do me a small favour."

Alfredo pushed him out of the hold, muttering under his breath. Tex told him his idea, Alfredo didn't like it. However he did owe his brother something.

"Tex you have to much love on your mind you can't even think." Alfredo muttered walking off to the shady indoors.

The cowboy made his way back over to you. You saw the younger brother get in his truck and leave the station. Tex pulled you into a hug, not saying anything. Tex ran his fingers through your hair, smiling to himself he was a genius.

The gas station shut late for this unusual occasion. The three of you had to squish in the seated part of the truck. You had no idea why you were doing this, although you weren't exactly comfortable sitting in the middle. Though Tex gave his brother glares when he had to reach the gear changer. You kept your mouth shut seeing that you were going a different way. Looking back at the gas station you wondered where you were going.

"Just a small surprise darling." Tex smiled, putting an arm around you. Occasionally flicking his younger brother.

"Ok." You whispered quietly.

Watching the roads and desert of nothingness. Alfredo picked up the speed with the truck and headed faster down. It wasn't strange to not see anyone on the other side of anyone on the road at all. No one was crazy to drive along the quiet Texas road. With nothing along the roads you began to fall asleep. Lightly closing you eyes and dozing off to sleep. Tex flicked his brother to keep his eyes on the road.

"Wake up Darling." Tex kissed you lightly.

You opened your eyes to see colourful lights and lots of buildings.

"Where are we?" You asked.

"Town centre." Tex replied, getting out of the truck.

You soon followed, taking his hand and looking at the buildings around you. Tex signalled at his younger brother to leave now.

"Honey, when we get back. You don't say nothing to Tink, I'm letting Alfredo taking the blame for taking the savings."

You stopped Tex.

"Don't worry, there's a reason to this night." Tex tapped the nose, making you walk again.

You still had no idea what he was going to do, but this was still wrong. Taking the savers for whatever, but when he said it'll help your relationship. It might of eased your mind just a little bit.
