Jungkook POV

Sitting across from my father silently, I watch as he ponders my request over in his head. He does this for a couple minutes, keeping the entire room silent before he finally speaks.

"Why exactly would you want any sort of partner, Jungkook? You do well on your own and there's no risks of others ruining things for you if there's no one there." Appa asks, sounding genuinely intrigued at the moment. I sigh, rolling my eyes as I lean back in my chair.

"Appa, technically you have a partner as well. Eomma just happens to be a personal partner rather than a corporate one. Everything is so boring and bland right now. Working during my free time with no one to converse with about quite literally anything, and the lessons are boring as hell. Life would be much more interesting if I weren't fucking alone." I explain with a small frown. A frown also lowers the ends of his lips as well.

"Jungkook, not everything is going to be exciting all the time. You don't need someone to be by your side all the time. It'll simply get annoying. Besides, they'll get needy and if you try to have them as a business partner on top of all, then they'll just try to steal the money from you or ruin things. It'll get messy." Appa says with a frown, waving his hand dismissively as he turns his chair to face away from me to outside the window behind him. Now, most people would stop there after being denied the first time and half of them wouldn't have had the balls to request in the first place.

"Appa, you don't understand. You've not been alone all this time like I have. When has Eomma ever been needy or annoying towards you? Half the time you use her as a stress relief anyways whenever you're home. I've been alone since day one and it's tiring and boring. I understand I need the classes but they're boring and easy. The constant alternating between lessons and working is tiring and bothersome. Things would be much better and much more interesting if I had someone with me. And if they betray us or become annoying or anything of the sort then I'll get rid of them. Simple." I elaborate calmly, knowing I can handle his stubbornness.

"Jungkook, is this really necessary? I mean, you've been doing just fine on your own all this time. I really don't see why you insist on having someone with you." He responds with a sigh.

"Appa, honestly. It would make me much happier and help to keep my interest in my everyday life. I promise, if it were something that would become an issue, I have no problems with getting rid of it." I tell him, growing impatient and frustrated now. He huffs quietly, running a hand through his hair.

"Fine. But I don't want this 'partner' of yours keeping you from work and lessons. You've this evening to go out and find someone to deem as your partner." He answers, turning his chair back around to give me a serious look. Smiling to my father, I nod my head before standing. Giving him a small bow, I turn back towards the elevator before we soon leave. Woo follows me into the elevator and just a minute later, we're back out to the car.

Staying silent, I wait until we're in the heart of town to stop the car. Woo just nods to me as I exit the car before he shuts the door and climbs back in. Smiling to myself, I instantly walk away from the car and begin wandering casually around town. Keeping my hands tucked in my suit pants pockets, I keep an eye out for anyone who could possibly look of interest to me.

I wander around, eyes scanning the crowds and different people passing at all times. Though, as the time goes by, I still find no one of interest. I mentally groan, slowly losing hoping in being able to find someone that could possibly accompany me. I feel like I've gone on for ages, soon growing tired. Huffing quietly to myself, I check my watch.

9:23pm

Sighing, I look around me and soon spot a club. Pursing my lips with a slight frown, I shrug to myself before deciding to head inside. Feeling a light headache, I bite my lip and head off to take a seat somewhere somewhat secluded. It's not exactly 'secluded' I guess, but it's definitely not nearly as crowded as other areas. There's a couple of workers wandering around, both males and females, and then a few different people here and there as well.

"Hi there, sweetheart. You looking for some fun tonight, hot stuff?" A girl dressed in very little clothes asks, giving me a wink as she attempts to act seductive. I mentally cringe at the sight, not at all feeling turned on by her antics.

"Possibly. However, I'd like to see the very best this place has to offer first, before I decide." I answer disinterestedly as I wave my hand dismissively. I watch her mood deflate in seconds as she nods and walks away. Don't get me wrong, she certainly has a great body. But her voice was annoying and she just didn't provide any sort of interest. Crossing one leg over my other leg, I wait patiently for the girl to come back with the best. Eventually, five minutes pass and I begin to wonder if she's actually going to come back or not.

"Hello, beautiful. I heard you were looking for the best of us here?" A gorgeous man says with a sweet smile says as he walks up to me. He immediately sits down next to me, looking over at me in a seemingly content disposition. Holy shit...

"That I am. Though, unlike most of your customers, I'm not necessarily just looking for business from you." I answer with a small smirk. The man cocks a brow at me, a small smirk of his own playing at his lusciously plump lips.

"Oh? And what exactly are you looking for, sweetheart?" He asks, looking intrigued. By god, he's got a beautiful fucking voice and body.

"It's a... proposition of sorts. What's your name, honey?" I question. He chuckles softly at the question.

"That would be Park Jimin, Sir."
