"Why, hello Bug-a-boo." Chat Blanc said, his hand on his neck. "Care to tell me where Marinette is?"

"Uh... w-who?" Ladybug asked. Why did he want to see her?

"You know exactly who, Ladybug," he said, a menacing look on his face.

"Oh, that Marinette. She's dead." Ladybug said. If Chat Blanc thought Marinette was dead Chat wouldn't be on to her.

"Sh-she's what?"

"Dead. D-E-A-D." Ladybug said. She said this as if it was nothing.

"... This is all your  fault, isn't it?! You pathetic fly!" Chat Blanc shouted. "You did something to her! You will pay, I swear on my life Ladybug!" Chat Blanc said and quickly made an attempt to harm Ladybug.

Of course, the attempt was a horrible one.

Ladybug quickly dodged the attack with ease. When Chat Blanc did it again, he missed again.

And again.

And again.

Aaand again.

Ladybug waited until Chat Blanc would give up but he never did. So, she kept dodging the attacks. She wasn't planning on fighting back for she didn't want to harm her partner.

Then she remembered something.

"Ladybugs play dead whenever feeling harmed or in danger." Mrs. Bustier said.

That's it!

A few weeks ago, they were learning about ladybugs in school. And Mrs. Bustier had said that!

She basically had ladybug running through her veins! Which means she could pretend she was dead and she could do it well.

Chat Blanc was attempting to hurt Ladybug, getting even angrier every time he missed.

So basically every attempt.

Then, suddenly, Ladybug stopped dodging. She stopped moving. She just let Chat Blanc hit her with his staff. It didn't even look like she had tried to dodge.

Ladybug fell to the ground once Chat Blanc had hit her, almost as if she had fainted. Chat Blanc grinned and quickly took off Ladybug's earrings, not even bothering to look at who was behind the mask. He let out an evil laugh.

Then, he realized what he was doing.

Chat Blanc looked down at Ladybug who was unconscious. Then he saw...

Marinette.

"Marinette?" Chat Blanc said, shocked. "Marinette." There was no response. "Marinette!" He repeated the name several times, yet there was still no reply.

Then he realized...

"What have I done?"
