Well it's fall and, as promised, time for a new contest!
The winners of this contest will get their stories promoted to my 5,000+ fans with a message from me. Plus they'll earn a permanent spot in my Teen Writers with Promise reading list. Interested? Well then, read on....
New rules this time folks. I thought I'd switch it up a bit and not only make the contest more challenging, but fun as well. Inspired by Twitter #Pitchwars, you've got to pitch me your book. In THREE sentences (and ONLY three sentences) you've got to give me enough about your book to make me want to read it. If you succeeded, you've made it over the first hurdle. And don't go thinking you'll outsmart me by using a bunch of run-on sentences...it won't work. Three complete sentences is all you get to lure me in!
Whichever books intrigue me enough will get a first chapter read-through, where I'll leave my comments on your story. After that, a winner (yep, only ONE this time) will be announced on November 1st with a shout-out to all my fans and a spot on my reading list.
Interested? Start sending those pitches in and make sure that they're only three sentence long! You've got until SEPTEMBER 15th, any entries received after that date won't be considered. Can't wait to see the creativity you come up with to hook me!
