When Gundham walked out of Kazuichi's room. He had the realization that he still hasn't told them his feelings and blood secret.
So all of a sudden his heart dropped when he realized something else.
"S-Sonia? What if Kazuichi never gets better? What if we never hear his voice again?" Gundham asked scared.
Sonia turned around slightly caught off guard by this question.
"Oh Gundham, Kazuichi will be just fine." She said.
"How can you be so sure?" Gundham asked.
"Be more positive! Gundham! Its not for sure he is going to lose his voice." Sonia responded.Gundham nodded back and they went their separate ways to their separate homes.
All night Gundham worried about Kazuichi's fate.
The next morning he was woken up from a notification on his phone.
Sonia Nevermind:Hey Gundham, I won't be able to make it to our daily visit with Kaz today because my parents want to keep me home today to work on stuff
Gundham Tanaka:Okay, I'll tell him that you hopes he feels better.
Sonia Nevermind: Thank You.
Gundham then started his way to hospital. Once he got in the hospital he heard a doctor yell "Bring the crash cart!"
"I hope who ever that is survives." Gundham thought to himself.
He then saw a group of doctors pushing someone on a hospital bed when he looked over his heart dropped.
It was Kazuichi.
"Oh! G-Gundham! Y-you see-" Mikan started.
"W-what happened? Is he going to survive?!" Gundham said.
"His h-heart stopped a-about 2 m-minutes ago. T-they don't know if h-he'll make it..."Gundham then stared in the direction where Kazuichi direction was going.
"G-Gundham?! A-are you o-okay?!" Mikan asked.
Gundham didn't even notice but he was crying and Mikan noticed it and was shocked even for a nurse like her.
"O-oh.....Its a medical condition I have...." Gundham said. Wiping the tears away.
"Here, take a seat. I-I'll go check on him." Mikan assured.Gundham nodded and took a seat. He took out his phone and called Sonia to tell her about the news.
"Hello?" Sonia said. She heard Gundham softly sobbing he was hiding his tears from the public so he wouldn't get glares.
"Hello? Gundham what's wrong?" She asked again.
"S-Sonia.....Kazu....S-Souda..." Gundham started.
"Gundham are you okay? What happened to Souda?" Sonia asked. He was gasping and trying to keep his breathing steady.
"H-his heart stopped....M-Mikan said he might not make it... I'm so scared..c-come over here please." Gundham begged.
Sonia hanged up and Gundham tried to repeatedly to call back but she didn't answer.
"G-Gundham!" He turned around to see Mikan running over. She ran over and grabbed his hand pulling him to follow her.
"C-come quick! Kazuichi is close to death! Y-you must see him just in case!" Mikan said.
Gundham couldn't say anything. He couldn't even cry.
He walked in the room and saw Kazuichi lifeless body as the doctors performed CPR and life saving moves.
......................................................................
(Kazuichi POV)*Sigh* Gundham just walked in the room. He's crying blood? That was his secret? Oh Gundham why didn't you tell me?
Where's Sonia? Oh wait she just walked in. Gundham is hiding his tears with his scarf. She doesn't seem to notice.
Looking at my own lifeless body is certainly a......sight.
Its peaceful here. I like it. I want to stay here.
But what about Sonia and Gundham? I can't leave them. It would break them. But I don't want to be in this world.....a world where my parents don't love me. But death hurts the living more than the dead itself.
I should go back for them....I have to...
Mikan and all these other doctors are working so hard just for me....
I need to go back soon. If they stop CPR I'll be stuck here....
I've made my choice....
..........................................................................
"W-we got a pulse! Kazuichi is alive!"
