A couple of months later Kazuichi's plan to get Gundham to come out never happened. But all through that time Sonia tried anything she could come up with. But through all their efforts nothing worked.

Gundham never told them a thing about his tears. Not that he doesn't want to. He just don't know how,when or how they will react.

Until now....

It was the morning Gundham was early and just started to head to his class. He waited for his friends but didn't see them so he just went to class.

"Wait up! Gundham!" Gundham turned around to see Sonia.
"Sorry I'm late! They were cop cars around my street so I had to take the long way." Sonia explained. Gundham nodded and the two headed to class. No sign of Kazuichi.

Once they got there almost everyone was already there. They took there seats and class started. In the middle of Ms.Yukisome lesson she got a phone call. Her face made a shocked expression and told her class to immediately leave, without question they left.

"W-wait! Sonia and Gundham." Ms. Yukisome called out to the students.

They turned around. Once they were in the classroom again. Ms.Yukisome walked over and closed the door.

"I'm so sorry....I had to cut class short because....something came up.." Ms.Yukisome said.
"What came up? Why are telling us these news?" Gundham asked.
"You see your best friend and one of my best students...Kazuichi Souda, I don't know how to say this...but this morning he was beaten with various tools then shot in the back with a gun. I got that phone call from the hospital he is at." Yukisome explained.

The two couldn't speak. The day before he was happy, finally going back to normal.

Sonia leaned in pushed her face into her teacher's chest and softly cried. Gundham wiped the unnoticeable tears from his face with his scarf.

Gundham looked up and made eye contact with Yukisome.

"D-do you know w-who did it?" Gundham asked. He said shakily. For some reason he just couldn't cry.
"His parents Gundham. His parents..did it." She said.

Yukisome opened one her arms for Gundham to feel her embrace. He walked over and slightly cried.

"I KNEW IT!!" Gundham screamed. The two students were loudly crying now.

Yukisome just allowed them just to drench her clothes in tears. Gundham was shedding his in his scarf.

After they heard the news Ms.Yukisome told them they should go to hospital now. The two let go and ran to the hospital.

Once they got there and told the nurse why they were here. The nurse told them that he was critical condition, they could go see him. But be wouldn't be awake.

Once they got there. He was in the hospital bed, hooked up to countless machines. They just watched him until Gundham spoke up....

"You will be okay..." Gundham said. Stroking Kazuichi's forehead.

"Why? Why him? Kazuichi doesn't deserve this. He seemed so sad....WHY DIDN'T I NOTICE THIS?! WHY DIDN'T I HELP HIM?!" Gundham said. Picking up Kazuichi's hand and placing his forehead onto it.
"Its no ones fault expects his parents. We didn't know. I...I just should've said something..asked about it." Sonia said.
Gundham nodded.

They sat there in silence. Gundham almost cried when he saw Kazuichi stir. But it was false hope. But he knew he couldn't cry at least not yet.

"I should've let you mortals in..."
