I looked at Ross, he was passed out on the floor. I was still shock. I was still shaking from the news of what the officer told me about my mother.

"Ross!" I kneeled down next to him, but the officer picked him up and walked into the living-room and gently placed him on the couch.

"Officer, are you serious! Your Ross's father, how can you verify that?"

"Well, his mother is Stormie Lynch, correct?" I nodded.

"His birthday is December 29th" I nodded again and looked down at my still passed out husband.

"Hold on a minute officer please" I smiled slightly and nodded. I walked into the kitchen and heard a bang, I ran into the living-room to find both Ross and Officer Lynch.....gone.

"Kids!" They both ran in, and went onto my knees and hugged them both tightly.

"Where's dad?" Asked Kayla. I didn't have a clue on what to say.

"Hunter look after your sister!" He nodded and took her to his room. I saw down on the living-room couch and tried to gather my surroundings. I thought 'Officer Lynch' wasn't a bad guy, what kind of guy kidnaps his son?!

"Hey Laura!" I jumped up from the couch and grabbed someone to hit the person the heard coming in.

"Officer Lynch!" I slowly lowered my hand still holding the object.

"I'm sorry to scare you!"

"Where is Ross why did you kidnap you own son?!" He looked like he had just seen a ghost.

"Miss Lynch, please take a breather. I didn't kidnap him!"

"Then where is he?"

"He's in your room, the bang was a couple of pictures falling from when I picked Ross up. His feet caught them. That's also why you never saw us, by the time you came in, I was upstairs putting him down" I nodded.

"LAURA, KIDS" I walked towards the stairs to find Ross running and grabbing me into a hug.

"Laura what happened, I came through and I was in the bedroom and you weren't, are you hurt. Is the kids ok?" I giggled a little. I love it when he over reacts. It's sweet and very cute.

"Ross calm down! They are fine, look! kids come here!" We waited for our kids to show them self. When then seen Hunter carrying Kayla over his shoulder coming from the back of the house.

"Hunter, what are you doing?" I was laughing at the same time.

"She wanted to go into the pool, but I wouldn't let her. Especially with her jacket on!" I nodded in approval.

"Laura, was I dreaming? Did an officer really come to our house and then suddenly say he was my....father!" He looked like he was about to pass out again.

"Maybe you should sit on the couch!" He nodded and started walking back into the livingroom.

"Good idea sweetheart!" I kissed his cheek lightly." He slowly makes his way for the couch, then when he sat down I called for the kids. They ran in and sat down in-between Ross and I.

"Kids, this is your uncle Mark, Ross's dad" they both looked at us in shock.

"Dad you never told us you had a dad!" Hunter was nodding at what Kayla just said.

"That's because I didn't know I had one, until a little while ago. So he is much of a surprise to you as he is to me" they both nodded, I just sat there rubbing Ross's back, trying to keep him calm. His breathing was becoming heavy which means he might blow a gasket and that wouldn't be pretty in-front of the kids.

"Ross, we should take the kids out!" He nodded and picked Kayla up, Hunter walked along side me, gently holding my hand. We walked out the house, but I looked back. Officer Mark was sitting down.

"Hunter, go and join your sister and dad" he nodded and walked off. I slowly back into the living-room to find him still sitting down. I was sure what to say so I just kindly coughed.

*coughs*

His head shot up, he coughed himself and stood up.

"I'm sorry"

"It's fine, but we are heading out!" He nodded, I turned round and banged into another body. It was Ross.

"You ok?" I nodded, he pulled me into a hug. I could feel Ross giving 'his dad' dagger and uncertainty looks. I couldn't be right though, could I?

"I'm gonna head, sorry about everything. Bye Laura.

"Bye Officer"

"Bye Ross" he didn't answer. I quietly sighed. Ross is being stubborn.

I then see Officer Mark walk out of the house. I sighed heavily this time. Ross released me and looked at me straight on.

"What's wrong?"

"More like how are you?" He looked at me, but when I look into his eyes, his beautiful brown eyes. I can see them twinkle.

"Twinkling aren't they!" I blushed looking down. He brought my face back up with his finger under my chin.

"It's fine, I love your blushing and my eyes are twinkling for the love the want show you!!!"

He wrapped his arms around my shoulder and we headed out of the house.
