Carter's P.O.V.
When we pull up at the rest stop I helped Stiles carry Scott to the bathroom and we sat him against the wall
"Why isn't he healing?" I asked out loud
"Because he's not allowing himself to, he blames himself for Derek's death so he's not healing." Lydia says
"So basically it's all in his head?" Stiles asks
"Yup." She says again
"So what do we do?" Allison asks, then Lydia pulls out a mini sewing kit
"We stitch him up." she says handing the things to Allison
"He's gonna need another shirt and somebody has to stall coach." I said
"We're on it." Lydia says before running out dragging Stiles with her
"You do know what you're doing right?" I asked Allison wearily
"Yes." she replied shortly so I just left it at that and went to sit by Scott and keep him conscious while Allison worked. After about a minute his eyes started closing and I knew I was losing him
"Allison can you maybe work faster please we're losing him!" I told her frantically while trying to keep Scott awake but I couldn't cause he finally closed his eyes completely. But by then she was done with the stitching
"Scott- Babe come on wake up." I said while tapping his cheek and he fluttered his eyes open and I gave him a big hug which he returned, then Stiles came running in with a shirt and I helped Scott put it on then helped him up and we made our way outside.

When we got out there we saw a crowd and heard people yelling so we joined the group to see what was happening, there in the center was Isaac on top of Ethan punching the hell out of his face and everybody including coach trying to get him off
"ISAAC!!!" Scott yelled with a growl mixed in his voice made everybody go silent and caused Isaac to pause and slowly get off of Ethan and walk over to us.
