A Dragons Beginning

A hooded man is seen alongside a hooded woman carrying a basket and in that basket is a baby with (H/C) hair fast asleep.

The eventually made it to a house on an island called Patch.

The woman turned to the man.

Woman: Are you sure about this?

Man: Yes... I've watched this family for a while now they're good people and they'll take care of him.

The woman looks at the sleeping baby.

Woman: I know but... I don't wish to leave him.

The man puts his hand on her shoulder.

Man: This is what they would've wanted you know that.

She nodded.

She places the basket in front of the door and the man knocks on the door and they both vanish.

Tai POV

I headed to the door after I heard someone knock.

Tai: Who is it?

I opened the door only to see no one there.

I looked left and right and still nothing then I heard what sounded like a baby crying.

I looked down and saw a basket and the blankets in the basket started to move.

I reached down for the blanket slowly and once I grabbed the blanket and I pulled it back and I saw a baby with (H/C) hair and eventually once it felt the blanket was removed it looked at me with its (E/C) eyes.

I tilted my head in confusion and the baby copied my gesture.

But then a few seconds later it started giggling and reaching out for me as if I'm it's father.

I picked up the basket and I found a note inside. I started to read.

To who this may concern-

The name of the child that lays before you is (Y/N). Both of his birth parents are dead and he will be in great danger if we take him in. We only ask you raise him, love him, and train him as if he was your own. And one day when he's ready we will come for him.

Tai: (Y/N) huh?

I felt something latch on to my finger and I looked find baby (Y/N) holding on to my finger and I couldn't help but to smile.

Tai: Lets get you inside little guy.

I took (Y/N) inside and saw my wife Summer holding our daughter Yang.

Summer: Who was at the door (looks at basket) what's in the basket?

I set the basket on the table and she looked inside.

Summer: (shocked) A baby?!

Tai: (smiles) Yep, his name is (Y/N) and he's going to be living with us from know on.

She looked at me in confusion and I told her about the letter and let's just say she was shocked, but eventually she smiled.

Summer: Well (looks at sleeping Yang) I think it would be good for Yang to have a brother.

I looked at the basket to see (Y/N) sleeping as well.

Summer and I looked at each other and we smiled.

We took Yang and (Y/N) to Yang's crib and we layed them both down but what I saw really warmed my heart.

Both (Y/N) and Yang were holding each other as if they were protecting each other.

Summer: (smiles) I think they'll get along just fine.

Tai: (smiles) I agree.

We both layed down in our bed and couldn't help but smile knowing that things will get even better with our new son.

(A/N): That's about wrapped it up for the prologue. I know it's pretty short but hey it is the prologue after all. I know for a fact it will be hard to manage these two stories and more stories to come alongside with my school life but hey I'm up for a challenge. This is Remstrack99 signing off.
