Christmas, Christmas time is near
Time for toys and time for cheer
Dear Carol Bells,
I plan on sneaking this quickly tonight before Merry's closes. I spent all day being coddled by my grandmother who was crying and commenting on how big I had gotten. It was a little suffocating but I was really enjoying it. She aged well. My grandfather is a bit more mellow and quiet. But he takes everything in and you could see the tears in his eyes from how big we all got. He nearly broke down seeing his grandbabies, especially my little niece who instantly took a liking to him.
I can't wait for you to meet them. I am sure they'll like you. You just have this air around you that welcomes people in. That is...if you let it.
And I think you've been doing it well. I had heard around the coffee shop that you seem different. In much higher spirits. You hum along to Christmas songs, your smile is a bit more genuine, and you have a spring in your step.
Carol Bells, if I may, can I say I am also changing? I feel more confident about approaching you for real. Hearing you change is giving me the courage I need. I am almost ready to reveal myself to you. Do you think we can make it to Christmas Eve?
I think that's what I'm looking forward to the most this Christmas. It's not about the presents and decorations. It's about the fact that I'll have succeeded in my goal and you will have become free from the dark memories that plague you most this season.
Carol Bells, I hope you are looking forward to this Christmas. You let me know if you think Christmas Eve will work to meet. I'll know by your actions.
Yours,
Saint Nick

I kinda forget this chapter was the one that introduced the idea of them meeting Christmas Eve *covers eyes* What do you think will happen??
Fun Fact: Saint Nick's grandparents are kinda based off my own xD
