Last Christmas, I gave you my heart
But the very next day you gave it away
This year, to save me from tears
I'll give it to someone special
Dear Carol Bells,
Want to know something funny? I love this song. Even though I never experienced heartbreak (due to the fact that I never was in a relationship before), I love the melody and the lyrics. It shows a strong individual standing up against all odds that a person did to wrong them.
Despite the scars and the effect it left on them, they decided that it was time to put it behind them to realize that they deserved better. Whether that is you or anyone else, my heart goes to all of you. And I hope this song (if you fall into this category), helps you realize that you are worth so much more than the trash talk others may have told you.
Just listen to it and let the lyrics swim around you. Take it in and realize that there IS someone special waiting for you *wink wink* to come.
And I know. This is a super short letter but I can hardly wait. Just two more days are left! *cue the butterflies and sweaty palms*
Yours,
Saint Nick

I personally love this song by both Wham and Glee Club. It's the first Christmas song I listened to this year :P
Btw, has anyone seen that Google commercial featuring Macaulay Culkin in the Home Alone house? I just about died of happiness when I saw it on Instagram <3 <3
