i rushed frantically over to rose taking the knife out of her hand. "babe, why are you doing this?" i didn't understand. she sniffled as tears came out of her eyes. "i'm not good enough." she choked out. my heart broke into two pieces. this was my fault. "rose, of course you are! who told you that?" i wanted things to be normal again. "my head. it told me that you cheated on me because i'm not good enough. it's the truth." she was barely audible. i broke her.
"rose listen. i didn't cheat on you. let me explain?" she nodded. i was so happy that she trusts me. "okay. so our cast went out to a club to go get away from the set and the town we were shooting in." she followed along with the story. "i missed you and decided that it would be a good idea to get shitfaced so i didn't have to worry about you since you are a strong girl. anyway, like i said, i got extremely drunk. it was probably unhealthy. the cast and crew didn't want me to get hurt, so they told lucy to take me back to the hotel since she was already leaving. she held my hand so i wouldn't fall and get hurt." i explained hoping she would see the truth.
it look like she considered my words for a minute until she stated. "i believe you," i was so thankful. "im sorry for jumping to conclusions." i cupped her face with my hands. "it's not your fault, doll. i should've tried to explain." i pressed a kiss to her temple and wrapped her in my arms.
"i love you." i smiled at her. "i love you too, rami." i pulled her along to the bathroom. "c'mon. i need a shower." she giggled and turned on the water.
