THE PUNCHING BAG MOVED BACK AND FORTH ERRATICALLY with each punch that Rosie threw at it. Sweat trickled down her face like tears, and although her body was begging for rest, she couldn't stop. There was so much anger coursing through each vein in her body, hot and bright red, ready for destruction.
Boxing was her daily routine. It was the only way that she could make herself forget about the dark matter that ate away all the nutrients in her mind. She always lost herself in her training. She'd walk into the room, feeling insane from the recurring nightmares she'd have each night. By the time she was done training, she'd feel calm—with some kind of sense of peace, that was of course, short lived. Any kind of bliss was always temporary, especially for supernatural beings like her.
