Chapter 1

Chelsea went to school one day in November super excited to get checked out that day. Her dad, Tony was going to pick her up from school around 2-3 and they were going to go to West Virginia together. There was a lot of family that Chelsea has never met before that lives up there. Her dad had grown up with them and has decided to take Chelsea with him to West Virginia. Chelsea awaits all day for that ding of the speaker to sound and for her name to be called on it. Chelsea went to music class and it was a conjoined class that day, which never happened. Also, a lot of people were getting checked out that day...Which never happened either! The music teacher turned on a dance video with little characters on the screen dancing to some odd music. Chelsea never danced along, she was to embarrassed. Chelsea waited and waited until the intercom came on for what seemed like the 100th time. "Can I have Chelsea for dismissal please??" "Sure thing!" said the music teacher. Chelsea bounded up with joy and trotted out of the classroom, packed up, and headed on her way. As she walked down the hallway, her boots slid across the floor and made a black scrape on the floor, she looked up and out of a door and thought to herself she will look at the door and always remember she was going to West Virginia, with her dad. She continued to walk down the hall and took a right until she saw her dad, she ran up to him and they both headed out the door to go up north.
