The Revision Session

[AN] Hi, just wanted to let you know I've changed this chapter a bit, thought everything was happening too fast. Thanks hope you enjoy it as much :-)

The weekend had arrived. Finally. I didn't think it ever would. This week had gone by quickly and I was glad I hadn't fainted again. Weirdly enough, mum hadn't found out about my incident, so I just hoped that stayed the same. I didn't need her fussing over me and giving me days off of school. I couldn't be missing days. Not now.

Our exams where coming up pretty soon, and I'd been feeling kind of stressed out with revision and everything. I'd decided to call Jay over for a while on Saturday, because I knew that he was actually really good at science. Plus, I knew we'd have a good time.

I was laying in bed after I'd texted Jay, and suddenly heard a knock at the door. Sitting up, I heard mum talking to somebody. It was him! I ran out of my room and down the stairs, and Jay was already in the hallway, talking to my mum. He was looking down at her...

I rolled my eyes, grabbing his arm. He looked at me and smiled. I started to pull him upstairs.

"Right mum, we'll be in my room," I called. I released Jay and he followed me up the stairs.

"Ella!" mum called. I turned at the top of the staircase and looked down at her. She looked at me and raided her eyebrows. "Revision only!"

"God, mum!" I groaned, running to my room. Jay just laughed and soon it was just me and him standing behind a locked door. I turned to him and he was really close to me. My heart started to beat faster, but he only pulled me into a hug. I held him for a few seconds, shutting my eyes, but he let me go and produced two books. He smiled.

"Only revision," he said in a high pitched tone, mocking my mum. I punched him lightly and he giggled, sitting on my bed. I sat next to him and we both started to open our books and get our pens.

"You're organised for once," I teased, looking at him. He just laughed and shook his head.

"Fuck off," he mumbled. I laughed at him, laying down behind him.

"Oi," he said. "Can't I get comfy then?" he turned his head around to me and raised his eyebrows. I laughed and nodded.

"Not too comfy, Jay," I said. As he swung his legs up and crossed them, he smiled at me. So, we where both comfy and began to work. At points I didn't get he would help me do it perfectly.

It was getting kind of dark and we had been revising all day together, and as I looked at the clock I noticed it was 8 o clock. Mum had brought us up some chips to share and drinks. As she left she told me to leave the door open a bit.

"Mums," I mumbled when she left the room. I wrote down another answer but Jay tapped my hand gently and I looked up at him.

"That's wrong," he said lightly, but then added "you moron." I punched him lightly and he laughed, having a drink. I had one too because watching him drink made my throat suddenly dry. I hadn't had one all day. As we both set our glasses aside something made me jump.

Move bitch, get out the way, get out the way...

Jay's wonderful ringtone blared out, making us laugh.

"Fuck," he said, reaching over for it. I sat up slowly, watching him talk to the other person.

"Yeah," he said, "alright. Sounds good. Seeya briefcase." I instantly knew who he was talking to and smiled as he hung up.

"Will said we've been invited to a party at some girls house tonight," he said. "Wanna go over there? I have the address and stuff so ee can go now if you want to." I smiled.

"Sure," I said, standing up. "I'll just grab my coat and we can head off." He nodded in return and stood up too as I went to get my coat from downstairs. As I slipped it on, I suddenly got nervous for this party. I didn't even know who the girl was.

Jay came downstairs and I said bye to mum. After that, we stepped out into the cold night. It was only about 8:15 now, but it was October so it was pitch dark. We started to walk to the house which was number 8 on Erbum Road. I started to giggle suddenly and Jay nudged me.

"Wacha laughing at?" he said, smiling. When we came to the sign that said "Erbum road" I pointed and said:

"She likes it up Erbum!" I was laughing so hard and Jay suddenly burst out laughing too.

"Brilliant!" he said between laughs. "Didn't know you where so dirty minded!"

"I learn it from you, Jay," I said cheekily.

After we had both calmed down, we walked down the road a bit and found number 8. As we both knocked at the same time, we snorted with laughter. Now we just had to wait and we could party!
