POV: R. F. Jackaby

"I'm warning you," I said as I got up, "I'm going to fail and make a fool of myself. This isn't going to work."

"I'm looking at a more optimistic outcome."

"Oh, really? And what is that?" I asked with a snort.

"You try, you don't get it, I keep teaching you until the awkwardness goes away."

"The awkwardness is not going to go away."

"Fine, then the awkwardness in the dancing is going to go away."

"Don't get your hopes up," I sighed.

"Too bad!" Siena chirped.

I took her hands, and she positioned them on her back and in her other hand. She puts her free hand on my shoulder. Then, she begins coaching me through the motions. We repeat them over and over again until I don't mess them up anymore, like lines I've gotten used to saying.

Soon enough, we're both dancing and laughing, having a good time.

"I told you!"

"Yes, you did," I relented. "It wasn't so bad."

"See, I knew you'd like it!"

We both laughed again and kept dancing. That is, until the entrance of Jenny.

"Jackaby, who is this fine young lady you are dancing with?"
