Chapter 9 Story told

3rd POV

Lucas and Brian were both coming back with a few animals they managed to kill. "So why I'm I so important?" Brian asks breaking the silence between them. "Well it's because of you have a kitsune." Lucas says. "Why is the kitsune so important?" Brian asks. "Well the kitsunes are apparently able to with hold a special unique power that's able to destroy darkness within seconds. People that ride them are known as Kitsune riders. These riders hold a special bond with the Kitsune and their surroundings because of this the riders are also able to have this hidden power. A power that when together they become extremely powerful." Lucas says.

Brian went silent pretty quickly. "Did he really kill every single kitsune rider?" Brian asks. "Yeah he whipped them all out." Lucas says. Brian stops and Lucas stops only to look back at his friend. "Brian?" Lucas asks. "Then how I'm I alive?" Brian asks. "Probably because maybe a few escaped and were able to pass on their genes." Lucas says. "I guess that could be it." Brian says. Lucas wolf ears lowered as he walked towards his friend.

"Brian I know one day you will see your parents or your family again. I have high hopes that you will see them." Lucas says causing Brian to smile again. "Even though it seems awful I know you will see them whoever they are and no matter where they are." Lucas says hugging his friend. Brian hugged Lucas back feeling the sense of strength and hope gathering in his heart.

They both stop hugging and began heading back to camp. Everything was set up perfectly and everyone was talking while Brock had started a campfire. Lucas and Brian set their catches down and Brock began carving and cooking the meat up with an knife he had packed. "So why is Brian really important?" Luke asks. "Well I'll tell you boys everything including what happened to the kitsune." Lucas says

735 yrs ago kitsunes and their riders were known as the most powerful creatures in the world. Even more dangerous and powerful than a dragon. Kitsune were born to show respect, agility, strength, passion, and peace throughout the entire world. Everyone in the four kingdoms respected and loved the kitsunes.

They all had their own village were all kitsune and riders lived in peace. They all had beliefs and celebrations. At the age of 16 or 17 a kitsune would pick it's rider and throughout the rest of their life grew strong unbreakable bonds. Many people know of the strong powers kitsune and riders possess. Through many stories it's told a kitsune named celesta came to earth to rome the world along with her mate Artemis. Celesta was a beautiful pure white kitsune while Artemis was a pure black kitsune.

They walked until they saw a small village. Not to many people lived in that village only like 7 to 9 people. As both kitsune looked they noticed two children ages 16 and 17 running around holding hands a couple. A female named serenity and Ajdal. Both were heading towards a river and a meadow nearby. The two kitsune where extremely curious and began following them.

They followed and watched as the two teens played games and laughed. As they played serenity noticed both kitsune's watching them from afar. Pretty quickly both her and celesta felt a tight bond. Celesta calmly walked towards serenity and bowed her head. Ajdal and Artemis both watched them in confusion and interest. People from the village noticed both in complete confusion.

Serenity lifted up her hand and touched the kitsunes head. Within seconds both celesta and serenity began glowing white. When the white vanished both were wearing pure white armor with a hint of light blue. Serenity hand a mark of the yin on the top of her helmet. A white sword in her right hand. Soon enough Artemis and Ajdal made the same connection with them both wearing pure black armor and Ajdal with a yang on top of his helmet.

Thus the kitsune riders were born the very first protectors. Both with passion in their hearts ready to protect their own village. As life continued ajdal and serenity hand a baby same with their kitsunes who had six. As more kitsune landed and began walking on earth more people were chosen to hold the trust of the kitsune. People then realized the amazing and power both kitsune and rider both had.

The kitsunes were powerful enough to stop volcanos from erupting, earthquake from causing damage, and avalanches from falling. The riders were able to change time, prevent hunger, death, and sickness from spreading throughout the land.

When Evan was born serenity and celesta both came to see him. Both of them welcomed the new prince with open arms. While Artemis and Ajdal watched from the background watching over the young prince.

They both were the oldest kitsunes to ever live and after they seen Evan they slowly passed onto the other side. As time passed and Evan grew was when Sark grew his plan. Sark had a sorcerer see his future. The sorcerer told Sark that a kitsune and rider along with many others would stop him and foil his plans. Yet she and many others couldn't believe the horrible thing he did next. Sark sent his most powerful warriors and even himself went to the kitsune and riders home.

They slaughtered every single one. Killed the children, women, baby's, and elders. They slaughtered everyone until there was none left to be seen or heard. When people learned of this they began getting ready for a war that would soon come to pass.

"That's why your important Brian." Lucas says everyone was silent learning this. "Wow Evan has a right to hate him for killing innocent people." Tyler says. "That's because he was terrified of having a kitsune and rider defeat him. I know the full extent of a kitsune and their riders. I know they are extremely brave and strong." Lucas says. "If they say kitsune are that powerful then how come Brian hasn't unlocked his strength yet?" Luke asks only to get back handed by Bryce. "He will in time. After all he's a quick learner than you were Luke." Lucas says as he headed towards his tent. "Oooo." Everyone says only laughing afterwards. "He roasted you devil boy." Bryce says standing up and heading towards his tent.

Luke rolled his eyes in announce and headed towards his tent. "Hey don't worry Brian your not alone ether Lucas did say this kitsune and rider had people backing him up." Tyler says smiling causing Brian to smile a little.
