You were picking up the final few bits for your Christmas shopping, stocking fillers mainly for your friends, and your fingers were cold, your nose was turning red and your arms were starting to ache from carrying your bags. You walked through the city centre, eyes watching as the snow fell and landed on the Christmas lights and you felt the most festive you could be.

That was until you saw a man, dancing in the middle of the street in a shirt and joggers and you stopped to watch him. You watched as he danced despite him clearly being cold, his fingers red, his breath coming out in short hot clouds that disappeared as soon as they came. Once the song finished he rubbed his hands together in a desperate act to warm up his hands. You walked up to the man, smiling softly and you took off your gloves.

"They're a bit girly, but you need them more than me." You smiled and his eyes widened.

"I'm not homeless, I just can't work my phone with them on-"

"I never said you were, you just look really cold." You smiled softly. "I know a coffee shop nearby, let's go there so you can warm up."

He hesitated before nodding. "Only if I pay, as a thank you for snapping me out of my train of thought. I would've kept going until hypothermia kicked in."

"Sure." You smiled. "What's your name?"

"Jung Hoseok."

"You're a very good dancer Jung Hoseok."

"And you're a very kind lady..."

"Y/N."

"Y/N." He grinned and you felt your heart skip a beat at how your name sounded coming from his lips and you felt a smile tug at your lips. "Where's this coffee shop then?"

He had packed up his speaker and belongings and was carrying them at his side now. You walked ahead by a pace just so he knew where to go, and you took a turn, entering a small coffee shop. You sat down and put your bags down with a sigh. Soon you two had ordered your drinks and a toastie each, and you began to make small talk.

"So what do you do?"

"I work at a few places, my main job is a waitress at a restaurant, but I work retail occasionally and I'll help out at my aunts studio occasionally."

"Studio? Like a dancing studio or an art studio?"

"Dance. I don't dance myself, but I'll help tidy up and I'll man reception." You smiled softly. "What about you Hoseok, what do you do apart from dance in freezing weather?"

"I'm actually studying dance, I enjoy it. I don't work that much, so I'll dance for money occasionally like you just saw." He smiled softly.

"You'll go far with dancing." You hummed and noticed he was still shivering. You shrugged off your hoodie you had shamelessly bought from the men's section and handed it to him. His eyebrows furrowed.

"Won't you be cold?"

"No no, I have my thick coat there." You smiled. "It's a men's hoodie anyway."

He pulled it on and he welcomed the warmth with open arms, and he let out a sigh before grinning. "It smells like your perfume-"

"Well I have worn it for a while today." You grinned in return, sipping on your hot beverage. "Is there anything wrong with it smelling like me?"

"No, but you'll have to meet up with me again so I can give it back so you can give it to me when it smells like you again." He paused. "And in return, I'll give you one of mine."

"Is that your way of you saying you want to see me again Jung Hoseok?"

"Maybe it is, Y/N." He smirked softly and you laughed quietly.
