Day 5: Jimin

You had been dating Jimin since high school, he had won your heart over two weeks prior to Christmas many years ago by showing up at your house with a car and a dozen roses for you. Before that, you had been best friends basically since birth, and you both knew you had crushes on one another but neither of you wanted to act on it.

Since then, you two had been the perfectly balanced couple. For every couple of good moments, there was a bad moment when you two would argue over something that you thought was a major issue at the time, but now looking back at the time it wasn't. You knew that being with him, or anybody either, had to have its ups and downs and couldn't always be ups. You didn't mind though, you were an avid fan of the make-up sex, and the way you both would become pouty when you apologised to one another and you adored the fact that you both always managed to talk it out with one another like adults.

Jimin had told you that it was a lazy day with Christmas films, which you weren't complaining about whatsoever and he would come around to your house and bring his PJ's with him.

You and Jimin had been cuddled under your bedsheets watching every Christmas film you could think of. The grinch, Elf, the nightmare before Christmas - although some would argue it wasn't a Christmas film - and Home Alone.

After the first few films, he decided he was going to stay at your house for the night, which gave him all the more reason to pull you closer and not let you go because he knew he wouldn't have to leave for a while.

"How many days it till Christmas?" He whispered softly, playing with your hair.

"Four." You replies in the same soft whisper and he smiled before muttering a quiet 'fuck it'.

"I can't wait till Christmas-" He reaches into his PJ pants pocket and smiled softly, presenting a small box. "I was wondering if you would make me the happiest man on earth Y/N, and marry me?"

Your eyes widened and you absentmindedly reached for the control and paused the film.

"Wha-" Your voice broke before the tears started to pool and you nodded. "Y-Yes!" You cried out happily which caused him to laugh. He slipped the cool metal onto your finger with a smile before he kissed you softly.
