Chapter 2: Into the Woods
Third POV
"Why do we have to go on a run?" a sleepy Jungkook whines.
"Because you promised," Jimin answers. The pair were standing in the woods in the early morning breeze. Jimin was stretching his arms while his bare chest shined in the sunlight. Jungkook, on the other hand, was sitting on the floor in his pajamas.
"Kookie," Jimin sang, "Get up and shift."
Jungkook whined and stood up while mumbling incoherent words.
"This is bullying," Jungkook says before taking off his clothes. Then sounds of bones cracking filled the silence.
"The sun is rising in five minutes so we have ten to run," Jimin says before he shifts as well.
Les get it. Lynx who was Jungkook's Wolf said.
I'm tired.
If I told you that the faster we finish this the faster you get to eat, would you be happy?
YES!
Jungkook started wagging his tail as he looked at Jimin waiting for him.
"Let's go," Jimin said through mind link. As soon as those words left his lips Jungkook took off running into the forest with his clothes in his mouth. He ran dodging trees and jumping over sticks. He made sure to turn around so he could make sure Jimin was behind him. Then he heard something. His wolf instincts made him run towards the sound leaving the path.
He followed the sound towards a waterfall. He sniffed around trying to figure out why he was drawn here. When he couldn't figure it out he decided to take a break and get some water. He waddled to the start of the pond and leaned down to drink some water after placing his clothes on the ground.
After he was satisfied he realized he was alone. Jungkook hates being alone for many reasons. One of them is he tends to panic.
He shifted back to his human form and put his clothes on. His heart began beating faster as he bolted back into the woods. His breathing became unsteady as the world seemed to spin around him. He stopped and leaned against a tree trying to calm down. His hands started to shake as he heard footsteps approaching him.
His eyes became glossy as he prepared to take off running again. But before he could he was caught and grabbed into somebody's arms. He let out a loud scream followed by the person covering his mouth.
"Calm down Kookie, I've got you," Jimin whispered into his ear. Jungkook relaxed in his arms and sobbed. Jimin turned the boy around so they were facing each other and wiped his tears. "Get on my back so I can carry you back."
Jungkook sniffled and nodded. Jimin turned around and leaned down allowing the boy to jump on his back. Then they started on their journey home.

Jimin walked into the pack house with a teary-eyed Jungkook on his back. He walked into the living room which was quite large due to the number of people living in the building. He placed Jungkook on the couch and squat down to face the boy.
"I'll get you something to eat and banana milk," Jimin said holding Jungkook's face so he would look at him. Jungkook nodded and played with his fingers in his lap. Jimin got up as walked to the kitchen. Jungkook heard running and looked up. He saw a very worried Yoongi running towards him.
"Are you okay Jungkookie?" Yoongi asks squatting down to examine the boy.
"I'm fine," Jungkook answered avoiding eye contact.
