Today was the party. Today I was seeing Amy again. During the week, I trashed everything Amy gave me since we were kids. I deleted every single picture I had with her. Everything. My room looked different without all those framed pictures of us, but it's okay. I re-decorated my room, actually, I only moved my bed from where it was. And added a few more posters to the walls.

I applied mascara and put on my heels. I sprayed many perfume on my neck and then a few on my wrists and torso. I took my phone, my aunt's car keys, and the house keys. I went downstairs and shouted. "Auntie! I'm going to the party, I'm taking your car!"

"Be careful!" she yelled back.

I opened and closed the front door. I climbed in the car and turned it on. 'Monster' by Imagine Dragons was playing on the radio. I arrived ten minutes after I left home to the house hosting the party. I couldn't find a parking space near it, so I had to park two blocks away. When I was a block away I could hear the music. I was finally at the house, I could see people on the backyard. I thought about knocking on the door, but with this music so loud, no one would hear me. And besides, it's a party, who knocks on the door? I stepped in the house. People were all crowded and sweaty. I'm a little claustrophobic.

I went to the backyard and breathed in the night air. I grabbed my phone and texted Mark 'at the byard, wby?' and hit send. It vibrated almost immediately 'havent arrived, in bout some hrs ill be there, see ya'. Okay. I looked around, people were either talking, making out, smoking, drinking, or drugging themselves. That's why I don't like parties. Every party was the same.

I saw Amy standing a few meters away. We made eye contact, bad thing. She approached me rapidly, like she couldn't wait to ruin the party for me. "Hello," she said smiling. Hypocrite. I just stared blankly at her face. "Did the mouse ate your tongue?" she asked.

I rolled my eyes. "Hi," I said. "Are you lost or something?"

"Me?" she asked. "I think the lost one is other person."

"What do you want?" I asked.

"Just came to say hi to my dear friend," I laughed to myself.

"I know you are hypocrite, but I didn't think you were this hypocrite," a few oh's were whispered by people near us. People who were farther from us, started to walk toward us, making a crowd. "Why won't you tell the truth? It's easier for both of us," I said. People started calling their friends, almost all of the people that were inside came out. Too much people. Amy was speechless. "Did a mouse ate your tongue?" I smirked.

Amy finally recovered. "I may be a hypocrite, but you are a slut," oh's. "Or did you forget? I told you I was crushing on someone, and what did you say?" What is she talking about? "That you would make him crush on you, why? Because you hate me, and I did nothing to you," Is she serious? Like, really?

"Are you kidding me?" I said exasperated. "Faking many years of friendship is your way of saying 'I did nothing to you'?" Now every single person that attended to the party was hearing or watching us fight. I hate crowds. I hate getting a lot of attention. But I mostly hate Amy. "Don't you have anything better to do with your lives?" I shouted to all of them. "Fuck off," I said, pushing past the people. I walked straight to my car. I reached for the keys, but they weren't there. Fuck. I took deep breathes to calm myself down. I headed again to where I was. People returned to what they were doing, and Amy was nowhere to be seen, great. I left the keys and my phone on a table. Why am I so stupid? I grabbed them and started to walk to my car. I felt a soft tapping on my left shoulder. I turned around, it was the car guy. "Hey," I said surprised to see him. "Did you see that?" What a stupid question, he obviously saw that. He nodded.
