Within, the feeling starts.
Like leaves, between the bark.
Growing wildly, providing breeze.
That my heart may ever sway til' cease.Autumn comes to height.
The leaves fall, orange and bright.
Bright like the fire in my heart.
Burning with pain from being apart. In wake, might I still be alive.
For this pain - endless and unkind
When you left me, alone and behind.
Never looking, my mind then unwinds.Becoming victim to this feeling,
Of my sadness and hating.
A repeat of this, not wanting.
Stop this heart of mine writhing.
