The summers you were here,
Spending together moments so dear.
A wonderful friendship we bore.
Soon I hoped for more. Each fleeting moment was fun.
Always with you until the day was done.
Laughter and tears we shared.
Enjoying the company without a care.Slowly exiting from our youth
From kids to teens, we grew.
Each summer I lasted.
Knowing our time shortened.Shorter and shorter each passing year.
The end of our time was near.
From a month, to weeks, to days.
It slowly didn't feel okay...The Awkwardness between
Effects of puberty maybe.
Between a boy and a girl.
friendship was a pearl.I thought we had achieved this rarirty.
But I couldn't see it with much clarity.
Our lives were moving along.
Further and further, it never was strong.I had loved you then,
And I love you now
I don't know when or how,
My mistake, without a doubt. The feeling for you grew
It was too late, I knew.
You were gone, it's true.- - - I just want get over you. - - -
