It was the third day of school, I was in my 5th period which happened to be geometry. Mr.George was explaining segments again even though he explained them yesterday. He was suddenly interrupted by a student walking in through the door. We all turned attention to the door, suddenly more interested in the student than our work.
The student strode toward our teacher. He walked as if he owned the place even though he's only been inside for about a minute. I couldn't see his face quite clearly since I was on the other side of the room and since I was extremely blind but I did take notice of his figure.
He was quite tall and thin. He had this muscular built to him as if he worked out regularly. But he wasn't extremely bulky.
Mr.George asked him his name and he smugly replied "Alexander Edwards." Saying his name as if it were the most important thing in the world.
What an arrogant prick. I haven't even seen his face and I already despised him.
Mr.George welcomed him to our class and told him to sit anywhere he'd like. Even though there was only 2 available seats. One next to me and one in the back of the room. I quickly wished he'd choose the seat in the back but he decided to choose the seat next to me.
I cursed him in my head. Great. I was stuck sitting next to an arrogant little douche all semester. Ok well I don't know if he's a douche but I can assume he is by how conceited he seems.
I decide to stop focusing on his could be douchiness and actually pay attention to my work. I glance down at my paper and am just about to start on it when I'm interrupted by a "pssst."
I turn and glare at the new student but am caught off guard when I look at him. "Holy fuck" I think. This guy was attractive. He had dark brown messy hair and really gorgeous, blue eyes, and a smile to die for.
His smile revealed a cute little dimple on his left cheek.
Wait what was I thinking. Just a second ago I despised this guy. And now that I see his gorgeous face I quickly dismiss all my thoughts? Hell no. I, Mia Woodley do not let go of my judgment that easily. No matter how attractive this dude was, he looked like a douche and talked like a douche so he must be a douche.
"What." I snapped.
He flinched. He probably has never gotten a reaction like that out of a girl before.
"Uhh do you have a pencil I can borrow?" he asked nervously and uncertainly.
Ha where was his arrogance now. "No." I replied.
"What about a pen?" he asked this time with a little more of that arrogance he showed earlier.
"No." I replied again this time a little more angrily.
"But you have one right there." he said pointing at the pen on my desk." I looked at my pen. It was my personalized Ravenclaw pen. My absolute favorite thing in the world. "Uh no way." I replied.
"Excuse me?" he asked with a hint of confusion.
"You can't use it." I stated.
"And why not?" he asked again.
"Ugh why won't he leave me alone" I thought
"Because it's my Ravenclaw pen." I said a little more exasperated
"And..."
"It's very special to me and I don't want anything to happen to it."
"I won't let anything happen to it"
"Well I don't think you can take care of it" I said my voice growing and growing with irritation.
"You don't know me though, so how will you know if I'll take care of it or not"
"YOU JUST CAN'T USE IT OKAY" I yelled out.
All heads in the room turned and faced me.
"Mia! Why on earth are you yelling at Alexander?" Mr.George exclaimed
"I, uhh, umm"
"I'm waiting..." he drawled
"He wanted to use my pen and I didn't want to lend him it" I said, feeling my cheeks burning
"Stop disturbing my class and let Mr.Alexander use your pen" he demanded
"But..."
Mr.George looked at me sternly
"UH fine" I said while handing over my pen to Alexander."
Alexander smirked.
THE LITTLE PRICK SMIRKED
I wanted to stab his gorgeous blue eyes out with my pencil.
"I really like your pen by the way" he stated
I turned and just stared at him.
"I'm a Harry Potter fan too." he continued
I just continued staring. Even though hearing he liked Harry Potter made my heart beat a little faster. He probably has only seen the movies, I thought.
"I love the books so much better than the movies though." He added
"Well shit" I thought
I was about to reply but the bell rang and the whole class got up and left. I was out the door and realized that the prick still had my pen. FUCK. I looked around the halls for his tall figure but couldn't find him.
"SHIT." I yelled out, catching the attention of many students passing by.
"I'll just get it from him tomorrow." I sighed making my way towards 6th period.
Hey guys! Hope you're liking it so far. I'm a huge Harry Potter fan so i just had to make Mia and Alexander fans too. I'd like to mention that I will try to update every week. And if I don't please don't stop reading. I'll probably be busy with school but I promise I will update asap. Don't forget to read and comment c: -Alexa
