After I had that awkwardly quiet breakfast with my family, Miranda came and picked me up as she usually does.
Miranda had just turned 16 and for her birthday her parents had bought her a bright red beetle. She was one of the only sophomores with a car. She was my ride so I guess her getting a car benefited me too.
I was actually kind of jealous of Miranda. Not only because of her car but just her as a person overall.
She was like drop dead gorgeous. She has curly blonde hair and blueish/greenish eyes. She also has really light skin. She was really short but she made it work. She's Miranda, she makes everything work.
Her appearance isn't the only thing I'm a little jealous of.
She also has a great personality.
She's that kind of person you see and automatically want to be their friend.
Miranda is just a likable person.
Every guy wanted to date her. Too bad she has a boyfriend already.
Miranda and her boyfriend, Peter, had been together since 8th grade. And they honestly have the perfect relationship. They never ever fight. Which is strange because all couples fight.
"MIA! Can you hurry up and get the fuck in the car? You've been standing there like a moron just staring off into space."
I quickly flip her off and climb in her car.
She stares at me.
"What." I sigh knowing what conversation is about to take place.
"Well first of all, sorry for hanging up on you but you were being a little bitch." She states.
"I know." I mumble
"Wow you're not going to argue?" She asks.
"Nope."
"Are you feeling alright? You look kind of pale" she asks a little concerned
"I'm fine."
"Hmm okay. Are you going to talk to Alexander?"
"Sure am."
"Good." She said smirking and with that she drove towards our school.
"I am going to talk to him, but who said I was going to be friendly." I thought mischievously.

We arrived at school a few minutes later. We were running a little late so Miranda and I parted and made our way to first period.
I had English first period. Mr.Higgins, my teacher, went into his normal routine of letting us do whatever we want while he "did research" on his computer. We all suspected that by research he meant watch porn.
We never asked him about it though.
I use the free class time to talk to my friend Bruce. Bruce has been my friend since first grade, ever since he gave me that chocolate chip cookie.
Bruce is basically my brother. I go to him whenever I can't go to Miranda.
The only problem with Bruce is his insane crush on me. Bruce is a nice guy and all. Sure he's attractive and funny but I could never see him as anything but a friend.
But he doesn't understand that. He thinks that one day I'll realize he's the guy for me.
So far that day hasn't come. And I doubt it ever will.
You'd think Bruce having a crush on me would make things awkward with us but it doesn't.
We are as we always are. Plus it's not like Bruce doesn't date. He does. A lot.
