Gilgamesh reborn as Naruto

Chapter 4

Next Day...

A certain hunter-nin came towards the king of heroes. When he tried to touch the blonde he was stopped by a firm grip. 

"Hm?" Naruto slowly opened his crimson eyes and looked at the intruder only to fine a beautiful man with feminine futures staring at him. "Hoh? Whatever were you going to do mongrel?"

 "I was just trying to wake you up. You'll catch a cold." said Haku.

"Hmph, a king such as I, do not catch pathetic things such as colds like peasants."

"You're weird."

Naruto smirked in amusement. "So why are you here chatting with your enemy? Not that I care about it or anything. Merely curious..."

"You don't mind that I'm working with your enemy?" Haku asked.

Naruto smirked. "I couldn't care less." He said. "As a matter of fact, I long for the possibility of us meeting in true combat to the death and until then, let us test our strengths..."

Haku giggled again. "You're the first friend I've ever had and I'm glad that it's someone like you."

"Be glad that a king is your friend. It might have been the beauty of your face that caught my interest, but it is the beauty and purity of your soul that interests me even more..."

Haku giggled. "A pure soul? That's the first time I've been told that...I'm nothing but my master's tool... a pure soul only makes me worthless as a weapon."

Naruto scowled at the mention of 'tool'. "You should know that I have quite an eye for precious things and you, boy are quite valuable indeed."

 "Hm, you think?"

"Oh, yes, I do. Why I'd go as far as calling you one of my most prized treasures."

"You talk like your older than me by miles."

Naruto smirked. "Appearances can be deceiving."

Next Day...

On the Bridge...

After some talking between Zabuza and team 7, they agreed to leave for Konoha instead of killing the bridge builder. But not everything goes according to plan.

"I knew you were planning to betray me so I planned to take you and your tool out!" Gato laughed evilly.

"Katon: goukakyuu no jutsu!" said one of Gato's shinobis.

"Look out!" Haku came in front of Naruto and took the full force if the jutsu.

 Naruto caught Haku before he could fall to the ground. Naruto looked at Haku with worry and fear. worry because he was losing someone he took interest to, fear since another one of his friends was taken by death's hands again. "Why did you..."

Haku smiled gently at the blonde. "B-Because... even if... I was merely another treasure to you... I care for you as a brother..."

"I would have survived. A simple fireball jutsu would never be enough to kill me! It wouldn't have harmed me, you know this, so why..."

"I... I don't know... My body... just moved on its own... " Haku touched Naruto's cheeks for the last time. "Before I die... I want to..."

"You're not going to die." said Naruto forcefully."You will live. You are strong!"  his voice had a sense of desperation to it that Team 7 was shocked. Never had they heard Naruto this desperate, he was always boasting and spouting arrogant things to people, but this was a different thing entirely.

"Save... Zabuza-sama... My King...do me one last favor... save him... as he saved me... all those... years... ago..."

Haku's eyes closed and took his last breath as his body became limp. 

The sky turned dark and lightning struck every corner of the sky and then a second later rain started pouring from the dark and angry sky as if it was weeping for the king's friend.

Naruto stood up slowly while cradling his fallen friend's body. He walked towards Zabuza "Hold onto him for me." He ordered, his voice solemn and completely flat. Zabuza nodded slowly.

Naruto began walking until he faced Gato's army. Naruto estimated it Gato's army to be somewhere between a few hundred, at the very least. "Mongrels... trash... None of you are worthy of my treasures... but you dared take away one of my beloved treasures. You dared to try and steal something dear to me!" He began, his voice ominous and cold, he looked towards the army with glowing menacing red catlike eyes. "For this transgression, I declare that your punishment shall be eternal damnation you Mongrels!"

Naruto raised his hand in front of him, and a golden ripple appeared, a strange object that might have paced for a lance, had it a tip, in his hands. It was seemingly composed of three separate segments of a strange black material interrupted only by strange red lines that glowed brightly against the darkness that had consumed the bright day.

"Be honored that you shall be the first to witness my greatest of treasures! Know now that not even the Gods will save you from the Truth!" the three segments began to spin, generating friction as they spun in opposite directions. Sparks of red energy flowed from his weapon. "Enuma..." Naruto trailed off.

"KILL HIM!" Gato yelled, terrified at the sudden ridiculous amount of energy.

"W-What is this power!?" said Kakashi shakily. "Is it the nine tails? No, it's something different something more vile and evil." he said.

everyone was trembling at the powerful dark aura of the strange weapon.

Naruto pointed the weapon forward at Gato and his minions. "- ELISH!"And then Gato and his army were no more, instead, a large crater was left where they once stood.

"Thank you for saving us Lord Naruto!" said the people of the Wave Country who surrounded the blonde king.

After defeating Gato, the people of Wave declared Naruto as their King since he previously told Tsunami that he was no mere Daimyo but a King. Yet for all the cheer and thankful expressions of the people, some noticed their ruler's somber mood. 

The next day, team seven returned to Konoha after completing their mission.
