Aizawa finally could turn off the damn computer and move away from his desk. The dark-haired man collected his belongings, he knew he wasn't going back to school until the winter break ends. Thanks to overworking himself he had no work for the next two weeks. He can correct Toshinori's work and help him catch up. Shouta stuffed his yellow sleeping bag into a backpack he brought with himself this morning to collect the scattered belongings.
Shouta got out of the school and watched as the white snow contrasts with the black sky - it's only 5 PM still - for few seconds before going to the usual spots where the cat hang out to check in all of the fellas are safe and sound at somebody's home or shelter. Counting all of them three times, he went to bus station.
The man checked his phone and smiled.
Great, Hizashi can petsit his cat. He texted his loudmouthed friend back to thank him and wish him a calm winter break on which he got a quick response "oh boy I wish, I'm going to grade your classes' English exams and my hopes are pretty low", Aizawa couldn't help but smile a little bit wider. Sure, he's going to scold them for having low grades and threaten to expel them, but he's feeling pretty good about not having anything to do.
He's been actually preparing for this winter break this time. He has a lot to do still before he goes to stay over at his family's place for a few days.
Finally, the bus he waited for arrived and he got in, paid for ticket and sat by the window. Pro-Hero watched how the snow layers grow thicker the farther he has driven away from the center of the city. Then his phone buzzed, checking it, Aizawa thought it might be Yamada sending him random memes, lately, he did that more often. Shouta's suspicion was that 1-A class made a group on Facebook and invited for jokes Present Mic, and now can't get rid of him.
It wasn't him, no, it was Yagi asking him when he's coming home.
"On my way" Aizawa replied. It was nearly six, huh, time sure does like to fly. Didn't he get out around seven today? No wonder he feels more tired than usual, maybe tonight insomnia will let him sleep.
"Are you going on a mission or something? I noticed that you did the laundry." If Toshinori noticed, that means he has dried and ironed the clothes for him. More Shouta considered the concept of keeping up the play and calling Toshinori "All Might", more of the idiot he saw in his lover. Oh well. He makes fun of him enough as it is.
"Yeah, I thought I told you. Sorry."
"Where are you going?" After a few *seconds* another text came. Does this man hang on his phone anticipating a reply? It's not possible that a person reads and replies so fast. Well, Yagi did was a hero for quite a while and is known to be the fastest and strongest thanks to "One For All".
"Well, I had a thought that, *hey, I hadn't seen my mother for two years. I am such a bad child.*" Actually, it might've been a bit longer while... Aizawa thinks about it and feels small dread crawl his spine.
"I see. I actually started wondering why didn't you talk about your family. Would you mind if I tagged along with you?"
"Of course not." Aizawa paused his typing. Toshinori hadn't talked about that either– oh wait, right. He didn't have any family, Yagi told him that he got raised at orphanage where he had no knowledge of his parents aside from that he's half-American. Maybe the blonde was curious about the concept of family, besides he should introduce his lover to his family. "But believe me, it's not that much of a fun. You won't really get to talk much." Shouta was stunned a bit for a moment reminding himself why was he in no big-rush to rejoice with his kin. He talked to mother, rarely, but he did, yet... with his cousin? Yikes, it's been years.
Shouta put away his phone to look at where currently was the bus. He had great timing, in a few seconds, it'll be his station. The man picked up his backpack and moved to the doors of the bus.
How long has been dating Yagi? If it was the second year, then he hasn't talked with his family... for four years...
It really feels bad now that he realized this.
He left the bus and began walking home. While doing so he thought about his relationship with the other man, where was this heading? Well, it is illogical for him to worry about this, but still, he's human after all. The walk home wasn't long and before he knew it, he was at the doorstep. The man stomped loudly so he doesn't carry in any snow or dirt into the house.
"I'm home." Shouta called out used to nobody responding, but for not so long, he had two types of answers. One was purr from a little cat he adopted and other from Toshinori.
His lover.
That felt weird in his mouth, so he never quite called him that. Today he heard both types of "welcome back". Aizawa smiled to himself hearing the voice coming from living room. The house wasn't big, but quite too big for two men and a cat. Shouta would gladly adopt two more cats, but Yagi didn't want to agree... for whatever reason...
Shouta moved to the living room to find Toshinori watching the news while petting the cat who purred loudly. The cat moved from the blonde's grasp and the cat went to rub at the dark-haired's legs. Aizawa bent down to pet the cat smiling during it. Since he tripped into the relationship with Toshinori, he came home at the same time as he did, but today he refused to come home with his lover, wanting to be sure that he picked all the things and finished all the grades and reports.
"I made dinner, it should be still warm. I'm sorry I wasn't sure when you were coming back."
"It's all right." Aizawa decided that the cat has gotten enough attention from him and went to kiss Yagi. Tenderly, by occasion, softly caressing his temple. "Thank you."

"You really thought of everything, huh?" Toshinori said watching how Aizawa packed into one case clothes for two different males for a week.
"Obviously. Who do you take me for?" the cat-person said dragging the case up and giving it to the blonde who was holding the cat transporter while he searched for the keys to lock the door.
"Quite confusing person, frankly, oh and an idiot."
"I dare to think of myself as quite simple to understand, thank you very much." The baggage was packed and Aizawa paused for a moment. "Are you sure about that?"
"Your family can't be that bad."
"No, they're not, it's just... I am just quite... different... compared to them... actually... and it has really been a while since I talked to them. Even I don't know what to extacly expect."

"...You really wouldn't entrust me with a cat?" Yagi questioned Shouta who couldn't help but chuckle. They just left Ashita with Hizashi who kept questioning them about the trip. If it was anybody else, Shouta would just ignore and get annoyed, but it was Hizashi Yamada, his first friend. Obviously, he was nosy, sometimes even invested more in his life than Aizawa himself.
"Come on." He rushed the blonde who caught up.
"No, I am serious, really Shouta?"
"We're going to miss the train."
"What's so funny?" Toshinori tried to sound serious, but with Shouta snorting so cutely in laughter how can one not to smile back. "It seems like somebody is really excited for this whole visit."
Shouta rolled his eyes, but he couldn't deny it.
