[A/N] heyo! @Fullmetal_Heroes suggested a Winry+Ed one shot soooo here it is! :D

<•5•> (Winry+Edward One-Shot) -Repairs *3rd Person POV*

Ed sat at a window seat in a train, watching the farm like land zoom past.

Ed was returning from the West, having been researching Alchemy. His leg had been having some problems, and he figured a trip back to Resembool to see Winry, and get his leg fixed, of course.

The last time he had seen her, was when he had asked if he gave he half his life for exchange of half of hers. But instead she had said she would give him all her life. Well, 85% of her life, as she had said. Edward smiled at the memory, excited to finally be heading home.

~•~Time Lapse~•~

The train screeched to a halt, Winry stood at the station awaiting Ed's arrival. He had actually called ahead, believe it or not, and she waited patiently for him, a soft breeze blowing her lightly blonde hair around.

The train door opened, and Edward stepped out, limping slightly on his left leg, a suitcase in hand, his golden hair pulled back in a pony tail.

"Edward!" Winry called, running up towards him and engulfing him in a hug.

Ed, surprised, stumbled back a few steps before wrapping his free arm around Winry.

"Didn't know you missed me so much. " he laughed.

Winry pulled away, her face flushed slightly. "Of course not, " she said, looking up at him. He was at least two inches taller then her now. "I'm just happy to have my previous auto mail back home. "

Ed rolled his eyes. "Sure. "

"C'mon, we better get back. Pinako's making stew tonight. " she turned and started off the platform towards the house.

"Mmmm, stew..." Ed quickly trotted after Winry, at an awkward limp.

There was a high awkward tension in the air when Winry, after dinner of course, had begun working on Ed's leg.

He lay on the couch, in only his blue boxers, Winry trying not to look up at his defined and muscled chest, her face already tinted red.

Ed had never felt this awkward before when Winry had been repairing his auto mail. It was fine when they where younger, but now they where adults, and this sort of thing tended to be awkward.

"Hey, Ed..?" Winry wondered, trying to ease the awkwardness with some conversation.

"Yeah?"

"I've been wondering... About before you left, at the station..." she said after a moment. Ed's face burned.

"I meant exactly what I said. " he told her.

"So... You asked me to marry you?" She clarified, stopping her work on his leg as he sat up to look at her, making it so they where only inches apart, both of their faces burning red.

He nodded his head slightly, and said silently, almost worried of what the answer would be. "What do you say..?"

Winry pretending to think a moment, though already knowing the answer.

"Of course!" she finally exclaimed, engulfing Edward into a giant hug, knocking him back on the couch, her ontop. Ed didn't hesitate to return the hug.

He pulled away slightly, looking Winry in the eyes and smiling broadly.

He leaned in, her unknowingly doing the same, and they kissed, a sweet, gently and loving kiss, to seal the deal.

[A/N] Viola ;D I think this was pretty fluffy ^-^ I'm not generally really good at fluff, so I dunno how this turned out XD
