"Sorry to interrupt whatever you're in the middle of, but we've got company," Markus called out as he slammed open Karliah's bedroom door.

The girl opened one of her eyes, turning to look up at him from her position on the floor. Before the haste intrusion, she sat on the brink of clearing her head, attempting to conjure the power instilled in her, but to no avail. It was difficult to say the least, to attempt to summon her abilities through light, and not through hate as Michael had instructed her. It was even more difficult considering he was no longer viable to help her through the process.

Even so, she followed through with her promise to the kingdom days prior. Any possible threats had been dealt with through a projection of necromancy, and every savage and cannibal alike within several miles to the premises were 'handled' to say the least.

And now, at the instruction of the Loa, she'd focused on the prophecy, silently, and at her own accord, preparing for the day to come where she'd birth a world even better than the one both her and everyone else once knew.

She uncrossed her legs, blowing out the candles in front of her before rising to her feet with a sigh, "What company, Markus?" she asked in an exasperated tone.

He tilted his head towards the hall, beckoning for her to follow him. Reluctantly, she slid her sandals back onto her feet, following the fierce-eyed warlock down a maze of halls and into their conference room.

In it stood the division leaders, as well as three women, all clad in black dresses. Karliah raised a brow, looking between the unrecognizable faces, before coming to the realization that before her stood the remaining witches of the coven Michael had claimed to have destroyed.

One of them turned to her, smiling at her with gentle eyes, "Karliah,"

She stepped towards the girl, "You probably don't remember me. I'm Cordelia, your mother was in the coven before she became pregnant with you."

Karliah nodded slightly, recalling the many times Eshe had brought up the woman. Though she found comfort in finally placing the name to a face, she looked her over once more, a hint of suspicion still evident in her gaze, "How did you get here? We were told everyone in the coven was dead,"

Cordelia drew in a deep breath, trading a glance with the red-haired woman behind her, "Most of our coven. Two of our sisters have been placed under an identity spell, and we need to get to them as soon as possible,"

"That doesn't explain how you got here," Idella spoke up, eyeing the women hesitantly.

The younger blonde at Cordelia's side rolled her eyes, shifting on her feet impatiently, "Does it matter? We have too much at stake right now to sit here and busy ourselves with small talk." She spat.
