Dear Diary,
Today has been a pretty good day... which is unusual. Today at school Ethan asked me to be his girlfriend! I said yes.
I really like him. I'm just scared that he will want to come hang out at my house a lot. It's not that I don't wanna see him. I just don't want him to know. I don't want anyone to know.
Ethan asked if I could go to a movie with him tonight. I said yes. I know my mom won't let me, so I'll just sneak out.
I have to get ready now.

I close the small notebook I use for a diary, and hide it where no one will ever find it.
I go into my bathroom and look in my mirror. I fix my makeup and straighten my frizzy hair. I change into a cute sweater with some skinny jeans. After putting some shoes on, I walk over to my window.
I slowly open it trying not to make any noise. Then I noiselessly jump out onto the grass. I quietly walk through my yard. After about 10 minutes I reach the movie theater.
He is standing outside waiting for me. His face lights up when he sees me. We go inside and buy our tickets and popcorn.
After the movie I say goodbye and hurry home. I hope my mom didn't notice I left.
I sneak back in my room through the window. As I began to take my shoes off my bedroom door swings open. It's my mom.
