Dear Diary,
I'm at Ivy's house getting ready. I'm in her bathroom about to take a shower. I'm 17! I have to get ready for the party now!
-NatalieI dried off and changed back into my comfy outfit. Then I wrapped my wet hair in a towel.
"Time to get ready!" Ivy said excitedly as I walked in her room. We first dried our hair and straightened it. Then we did our makeup.
"I love it" I said looking at her makeup.
"Thanks! I like yours too!" She said. "Now we need to get changed!" She said walking over to her closet.
I found a cute but not to fancy blue dress that went perfectly with my eyes. She picked a purple one like that.
Soon later people started arriving.
"Happy Birthday Natalie!" Ethan says walking over.
"Thanks!" I say with a smile.
"Do you wanna dance?" He asks me.
"Sure!" I say. We join the other people dancing.
After a while we go sit on the couch.
"Natalie, I uh got you a little something." He says pulling out a box. He slowly opens it revealing a heart necklace.
"It's beautiful Ethan! Thank you!" I say as he puts it around my neck.
All of a sudden I notice him looking at my arms. I'm a little confused at first but then I remembered I forgot to cover my scars.
He looks up at my eyes and says, "why?"
"I'm sorry" I say nervously.
"What's wrong?" He asks with sadness in his voice.
"I'm okay." I say.
"Why did you do it?" He asks.
"I uh I just was upset about the comments from your fans. I'm okay now though. I'm sorry Ethan." I can't tell him about my mom.
"Natalie I'm sorry they're kinda jealous. I don't wanna hurt you though. It's kinda my fault. I don't want you to get hate. You don't deserve it. You deserve better. Maybe we should b-break up." He said as a tear slid down his cheek.
"W-what?" I said in disbelief. My vision was blurry and tears were streaming down my face. Ethan was like the one good thing in my life. I can't lose him.
I run out to my car and drive home.
