A/N Hey peeps! This is a special chapter I made since Christmas is here. At first, I wanted to make a short filler, but I was like, you know what? You guys need to be spoiled, so here it is, a double chapter all for you! By the way, I will add some that I think would fit the background, so you may like to use it.
Chapter 10: Becoming Low-Class
( I actually couldn't decide here, so you choose)'No- you're sitting too straight.' Alekzandre said. 'Lean forth a little more.'
It was the second or third day after they agreed on teaching the other about their class, and Rose could see some complicated, yet noticeable progress.
Rose did as he asked, without realising that she now looked like a stiff grandma.
'And relax your shoulders.' He added.
'I am relaxing them!'
'No you're not!' Alekzandre let out an exasperated sigh. 'You look like a grandma. You need to relax more.'
Rose stood back straight and forced her shoulder to stay into a more curved position. Alekzandre made a displeased look with his face.
'Hm, it's better, but you have to work on it, though. You still look uncomfortable.'
Rose huffed in annoyance, crossing her arms and turning her head away. She noticed a pebble close to her and kicked it as hard as she could. The pebble slid a few metres away, eventually disappearing from their sight.
'Humankind*.' She muttered under her breath displeased under her breath.
Without her noticing, Alexander's face lit up.
'What did you say?' He asked, unable to hide the amusement in his voice.
Rose's eyebrows narrowed in confusion at first, but they arched back up in surprise in an instance, as she realised that what she said was louder than she intended it to be.
'You did not hear that.' She said categorically.
Alekzandre's smile spread from one ear to another, as he hardly stopped himself from laughing. She just said that, didn't she?
She shot him an unsure eyebrows-raised look, as amusement won and Alekzandre burst out laughing. At that point, Rose didn't retain herself from attacking him, offering him her best kicks, ignoring how useless they were.
Without her even noticing, Alekzandre took one of his muddy hands and put a grip on the back of Rose's neck. It wasn't too hard, but just enough to take control. Rose stopped kicking him for a moment, shook by his actions.
'Let me go.' She barked, pushing Alekzandre's hand off her.
Noticing the curiosity in Rose's eyes, Alekzandre decided that it was, perhaps, for the better if he would just leave it there. He raised his hands in defeat.
'Alright, Alright.' He said humbly.
'Hmpf.' Rose turned her head away. 'Didn't your mother ever teach you to not touch a lady without her consent? I thought this was a universal thing, not just high-class.'
'Huh? Of course, she did... I guess.'
Rose continued to walk for a little longer, without saying a single word to Alekzandre, who felt sour after her comment.
The morning turned to noon, and soon the noon turned to afternoon, and it was only then that Rose began talking to him again.
'Hey, is that a town?' Rose asked.
