"What do you mean I can't come to the funeral?" I screamed into the phone.
"Look little girl, I don't know you, you aren't a relative, and with all these gangs going around we have to keep this exclusive." Pamela's annoying son spoke nasally through the phone.
"The reason why you don't know me is because you were always 'too busy' with your girlfriend to come visit your mother. She was so damn lonely, you could just see it all over her face." I spat.
"You aren't coming, deal with it bitch." Before I could even get words out of my mouth the line cut off, and believe me I was furious.
My hands reached for the nearest object, chucking it across my room with force.
Once I realized that I just shattered my favorite candle into chunks, my heart fell apart.
Yelling in frustration, I punched my pillow like a little weenie until my muscles were sore and my breathing was staggered.
This Sunday is off to a great start.
I walked out of my room and down the slim hall and plopped down on the old black leather couch in the living room. Lazily flailing my body in a comfortable position, I switched through all of the channels.
"Oh, a marathon!" I excitedly spoke clicking the big circular button on my remote and grabbing the bowl of cheddar cheese crackers, stuffing my face as a beam of light suddenly came across the small screen.
Five hours went by smoothly before my marathon was rudely interrupted by the faint thumping of music. I groaned in agitation as I turned up the tv, and immediately after, it went to commercial making me sigh dramatically as I rolled off the couch, almost falling to the stained carpet.
Getting up on my bare feet I went over to the wooden door and opened it with a creak.
When I walked down the three small concrete steps I looked to the left to find the only white house on the block lit up more than the night sky on the Fourth of July.
Of course Kaitlyn has to throw a party when my favorite show is having a marathon.
"Well... my night is ruined." I mumbled to myself.
Going back into the small house I slipped on a random sweatshirt over my shorts, making sure to lock the door behind me before getting some flip flops, stuffing the keys in my bra, and walking down the lamppost lit sidewalk carefully.
Walking further and further cars started pilling and lining up until I finally reached the huge structure.
I few people were outside smoking and everybody else was inside.
Hm, maybe this party is better than I thought.
I walked over to the black door gripping the golden handle before opening it up and I was immediately ambushed by the rumbling bass.
Damn, they must have sound proof walls or some something, because it's a trillion times louder once you walk inside.
Looking around all I saw were people drinking and jumping around like idiots in their swim wear.
Yay, I love being at illegal parties!
I closed the door behind me, the bass literarily making me dizzy as walked around the endless amount of drunk teens and bouncing boobs till I finally got to the middle of the living room next to a mini pool in the center of the living room.
Out of nowhere a girl- practically in a thong- runs across the room screeching before the flings herself into the wildly, making a fucking title-wave of water splash all over my legs and shoes.
She snorted loudly as her head came up from the water and then hopped on some random guy's back, nearly choking him to death as he struggled out a laugh.
"This is too much." I grumbled under my breath.
When I turned back around my heart immediately started to pound out of my chest at the sight of Harry and Kaitlyn laughing together as Harry leaned against one of the many pillars, around the pool.
When his eyes caught mine I froze not really knowing what to do until I was suddenly jerked to the side by some random dudes' shoulder causing me to slip and fall into the deep water.
I struggled a few words out before my senses were completely enveloped with the horrid liquid.
"Fucking help me!" I gurgled as I saw bubbles form around me.
"I can't- can't swim!"
My arms were flopping around uselessly and I desperately paddled my legs.
Forgetting how to function I took a huge breath only to gulp up the chlorine mixed drink, making me choke and snap my mouth closed.
My eyes slowly started closing before, I felt a strong pull on my waist.
Jesus?
At first I could only hear a loud ringing as I saw a few people looking over to me curiously from a distance.
"Jasmine?" a voice spoke repeatedly from over me, causing me turn my head forward and lifting my body forward.
"Jake?" my burning eyes caught onto the shirtless tattooed boy before me and I spit water out everywhere.
"Fucking shit, are you alright?"
"Probably not." I groaned holding my palm to my head in agony as my head pounded.
"Not to be a total dick or anything, but what exactly are you doing here?" he questioned as he handed me the white towel that was over his shoulder.
"What do you mean?" I coughed drying off my drenched hair with the towel.
"The last time I had seen you and her in the same place you were getting ready to snatch eachothers hair off the scalp." he laughed as he helped me off the ground.
"I really don't even know why I came, this party isn't going so well." I coughed horsily. "I thought these things were supposed to be fun."
"I feel bad for ya', girlfriend." He said patting my shoulder. I looked up at him weirdly.
"You're such a dork." I said letting out an unexpected giggle.
"No one has ever called me a dork before."
"Is their a problem? Can I not call you a dork, because you are indeed a dork."
"You're cute." He chuckled.
"Tell me something I don't know." I smiled widely.
