Dianne's POV :

We all have 3 different faces, the first face is the happy go smiley face that you put on when you are around some of your closest friends and family. The second face is the fake smiles and fake laughter you have to put on when in the eyes of the media, having to make them believe that you are okay. The last of the three faces is when you are alone, when you are away from family, friends and the media. Sometimes being alone can be the best form of happiness.

"You're on in 5 guys" the strictly executive producer announced. It was the final of strictly come dancing and there was four couples left - Ashley Roberts & Pasha Kovalev, Stacey Dooley & Kevin Clifton, Faye Tozer & Giovanni Pernice and us ; Joe Sugg And Dianne Buswell.

Sitting backstage, still clutching Joe's hand tightly, all four finalists sat around the table talking about what their lives would be like after the show. After a little while we get called back to the stage and they place us in our standing positions. I wrapped my hand around Joe's knuckles closing my eyes and letting myself breathe.

"The winner of Strictly come dancing 2018 is....",

There was a long pause which felt like it could have lasted more than five minutes. I heard Joe silently mutter under breath, which I'm guessing was aimed at me, a quick little "We've got this, I promise".

"STACEY AND KEVIN", Tess shouted, which was followed by screams and cheers by the audience and I looked over to Joe's face and watched in sadness as his face changed from a grin to a sad smile which looked like he had let me down.

I stood there and began to clap my hands and cheer quietly for the winners but I couldn't help feeling some sort of disappointment had come out of this. I felt my hand drop from Joe's grip and a tear fall down my cheek; I had given so much into this competition only to get not much from it.
