Chapter 2: Another Chance

Vanessa's POV
I woke up with a message from Stella. I'm going out of town for the month. Just for a self-vacation. Luv ya! Bye!
Just Great! Stella's not here for the whole month! I'm all alone. I decided to hit the small cafe by the street. Since nobody would be making me breakfast anyway. I got ready then I head to the small cafe by the street.

Zac's POV
RING!RING!RING!!!!!!
What on earth... It's my manager calling for the tenth time! Well after having a long talk with the BOSS I head downstairs for coffee. Well she said I have 3 shoots, 5 commercial shoots and a meeting. It's another BUSY DAY. Well, Dylan has something to go to today an he says he'd be gone for the week. Looks like I'm on my own.

Vanessa's POV
While I was eating my breakfast. My manager called me. She says that I have to go to a Meeting about my new Movie. Well It's been a while since I had a movie. Well, my manager hasn't really gotten in dept with the movie but I'll go anyway. After eating I head home to take a shower and got ready for the meeting.

After getting ready, I called my manager to pick me up since Stella used my car to drive to her "self-vacation".

Zac's POV
After drinking coffee I got dressed then I head on to my car to go to the meeting. When I got out of the car that's when I saw her. That beautiful girl I once loved. That's when Something got me... She's in the movie.

Vanessa's POV
I was with my manager when I saw a familiar car. It's Zac's car. Wait..... He's here. That means he's also in the movie. Oh my GOD! Is this happening?! Were meeting again. The meeting started. Zac's here. I kept on staring at him but every time our eyes met I just couldn't stare back. I quickly look away.

Zac's POV
Well I couldn't stop looking at Vanessa. How could I not stop looking at the woman I still love all these years. But every time our eyes met she would look away. Maybe she doesn't love me anymore. Maybe I should just stop this feeling. Thinking of that makes my heart broken. I stopped thinking about her and focused on the meeting. Well the movie has a great story. Kind of relatable. After the meeting Vanessa and I are suggested to take a picture together. Well I guess a picture wouldn't be so bad.

Vanessa's POV
So after the meeting, A picture was taken. The movie has a great story it's like a modern day Titanic. But it has its own story. It has a lot of dramatic scenes and a love scene. That's when my heart pounded even faster. I mean not like It's akward or something It's just that a weird feeling from inside me came out. What if something went wrong? What if he doesn't like it? Questions just grew inside my head that I didn't even notice him walking towards me.

Zac's POV
I was thinking about the movie when I saw Vanessa. She was staring at the floor. Thinking about something or someone I guess. I started walking towards her just to ask if she's okay. Well I heard the news about Austin cheating on her. He's such an Asshole for breaking Vanessa's heart.
Uhhhh Hey! I greeted.
Hi! She said
Are you okay? I asked
Yeah! I'm fine. She answered
Are you sure? I asked
Yeah. Just confused. She replied
About what? I asked
About this. About the movie, everything. She answered
Me too. Everything is just so new. I said.
So... It's been years since we last talked, I heard you 2 broke up. I'm sorry. I said.
It's ok, I've moved on anyways, I mean I don't deserve him. She said.
A tear fall down her cheek. I knew she was broken. I should've left her.
I wiped her tear away. And she smiled. That smile. I've never seen for almost 8 years.
Don't cry. You deserve someone better, okay? I said.
I know that. It just hurts. She said.
I can see the pain in her eyes. I decided to offer her a ride home.
Would you mind a ride home? I asked.

Vanessa's POV
Would you mind a ride home? He asked.
My heart sank. I haven't been in his car since we broke up. I thought of it for a little bit. I mean a ride home would be nice.
Umm sure. I said
We bid goodbye to everyone. Then we went straight to the exit and to the parking lot. I just can't help but smile and be so happy. Being with him makes me feel safe again. Their was silence but I decided to break it.
You've changed. A lot. I said
Yeah, my style but not my attitude. He replied.
Umm so how's life? I asked
It's good. I mean Life's great. But could be better paparazzis are going crazy and their—
EVERYWHERE!!! We continued.
The rest of the car ride was just all about us talking and laughing. Chatting about our life and hilarious moments. I wish this ride would never end. Well, unfortunately it will.

Zac's POV
We reached Nessa's house. I had fun. She's still the girl she is when we broke up. I miss her. Since we broke up I never had this kind of fun in my life. Not even with the girls I've dated. We bid goodbye then I head to my photoshoot.

After all of my shoots, I head to my house to get a nice shower and just enjoy the rest of my night. I watched 3 of the HSM Movies. While watching HSM I thought about Vanessa. She's still the woman I love. I have to get her back.

I remembered Ashley has Nessa's number so I took my phone and dialed her number.

Hello! It's Ashley speaking! She answered.
Uhh Hi Ash It's Zac! I replied
Ohh hi Zac! How are you! It's been a long time! She replied
Uhhh I'm fine. I just want to ask if you have Vanessa's number? I asked.
Yes! It's ***-**** got it?! She asked.
Uhh yes! Thank you Ash! You're the best! Ok bye! I answered

Yes! I can call her now, I dialed her number and she answered.

Vamessa's POV
It's 8:30 pm and I still can't believe I met Zac today! I mean after 8 years, I can finally see him again. His smile, his eyes. I'm just so shocked until now. After a while, I realized that I don't have his number! O my Gosh! Ughhhh! RING!RING!RING! My phone rang. So I picked it up.

Ummm hi! It's Zac! He answered
I paused for a moment. Is it really him. OMG is this happening?
Zac? Is this really you? I asked.
Yes! It's me! He answered
How did you get my number? I asked.
Well, I asked for it. He answered
Asked from who?? I asked
From Ash, well Ash has your number. So I asked for it. He answered
Ohh okay. I replied
We talked for awhile. Until both of us are tired. We bid goodbye then I went straight to sleep.
